Perugia är staden med omvända vyer: för att komma in i staden måste du gå ner i källaren på kullen, du måste alltid vara på resande fot för att få det bästa av varje hörn, du kommer aldrig att hitta en fast punkt varifrån du kan ha en överblick över det hela ... men sedan uppenbarar sig staden som söt ... som en kyss av choklad och hasselnöt.

Vi startar från Piazza Italia för att gå ner till Rocca Paolina, ett helt underjordiskt distrikt begravt av den påvliga testamentet som ska transportera oss fram och tillbaka i tiden, från etruskerna till Garibaldi och La Belle Epoque. Vi kommer att se Porta Marzia, den antika södra infarten till den etruskiska staden med rester av inskriptioner och påvliga vapen.
Sedan fortsätter vi till vardagsrummet i staden, Corso Vannucci, tillägnad Perugino, en målare vars mästerverk (Collegio del Cambio) förblir unikt i hela Italien: det är en bank från 1500 helt fresker av konstnären. På Corso alternerar barernas terrasser, fönstren i de vackra klädbutikerna och de med typiska produkter.
Vi kommer till Piazza IV Novembre där Fontana Maggiore stolt dominerar, ett kompendium av populär visdom från 1200-talet, bredvid katedralen San Lorenzo, Palazzo dei Priori och Palazzo dei Notari. På torget leker vi med "hörnvyerna", vi kommer att gå runt det för att ta några överraskande bilder
Vi kommer att hamna vid utsiktsplatsen Porta Sole och här kommer vi att se en annan egenhet med Perugia och det är så staden ligger i landskapet av mjuka gröna kullar täckta med silverglänsande olivlundar.

We had a wonderful tour our guide was very enthusiastic about the city. We learned about the founding of Perugia and the Roca Paolina…take the tour!!!

The was exactly as described in the ad no more and no less. Our guide Simone was knowledgeable and her English was excellent. She is very business like and direct. The tour started a little late but ended on time. We learned a lot about Perugia.

Perugia is a fascinating city, with a very long and fascinating history. Our guide, Isabella was outstanding. She is very knowledgeable, charming, and excellent at answering all of our questions. I would not hesitate to have her as a guide on a future trip to Umbria.
The beautiful and erudite Mrs. Begonia took us around the city illustrating the history of the uses and customs of Perugia, with interesting observations on the structural and urban changes of a city rich in female entrepreneurship art. From fashionable Etruscan history to cooking and lifestyles , in two hours a full immersion full of interesting anecdotes told in a nice and passionate way .
