My wife and I took the Pasta Mania class during our honeymoon in Florence, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The small group setting made such a difference. There were only two other couples, so the experience felt very personal and hands-on. Alessandra was an incredible instructor—she kept everyone engaged, had such a warm and bubbly personality, and explained not just *how* to make the pasta, but *why* each step mattered. She was patient, encouraging, and made the class fun from start to finish. We made ricotta and truffle ravioli, ricotta and nutmeg tortellini, and fresh fettuccine served with an incredible pomodoro sauce. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was so rewarding to make it all from scratch. The experience also included unlimited wine during the class, followed by a tasting of several different wines afterward, which was a perfect way to wrap up the afternoon. We were also surprised with a delicious chocolate dessert at the end, which was an unexpected treat and the perfect finish to an already amazing experience. As an added bonus, Alessandra recommended a gelato shop that turned out to be the best gelato we had in all of Florence! If you're looking for a fun, authentic, and memorable cooking class, especially as a couple, I couldn't recommend Pasta Mania more highly. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
What a wonderful activity! Michelle was AMAZING and fun and engaging :) She did a great job walking us through the process. At the end you end up with a few pasta options to try! Can’t wait to make some at home.
Our family had a wonderful time learning how to cook pasta. It was some of the best pasta we had in Italy. Can't wait to go back home and try to make it home with the recipes they provided.
What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon in Florence! We had a large group of family and friends and it was a perfect activity for blended ages. We were there during a heat wave, so the nice air conditioned facility was great. It was also complete with a short informational film, a small museum on the history of pasta, and then the hands on class. Eloise, our chef, was warm, knowledgeable, and a wonderful teacher. She was patient and kind with all the children and adults. We thoroughly enjoyed the process of making the pasta as well as the feast itself! The food was delicious and the wine was great too! The adults felt like we left with the ability to do this again on our own, and they gave us recipe cards to help. Sometimes when you book things online you don’t know what you’re getting, but this was really as good as advertised. Don’t hesitate to sign up-just make sure you have ample time (our class was 4 hours) or communicate your time limits at the start of class.
Our family had so much fun at Pastamania! Eleanora was such a great host and teacher. And the food was absolutely amazing!
The pasta class was very informative and fun! My partner and I ended up sharing the class with a lovely family and enjoyed cooking with them and chatting with them during dinner. Our teacher was amazing and she was very attentive and knowledgable. The pasta was DELICIOUS and ended up being one of my favorite meals of our trip. Just note that Viator is not the most reliable place to book this. Our class was supposed to be at 4:30 but they did not reach out to tell me day-of that the class would actually be at 4:00. So we were 30 minutes late to class even though we could have easily shifted our schedule if informed ahead of time. I fully believe this was the fault of Viator, not the place that we took the class. So I would say definitely book this class for a fun experience and cool souvenir (knowledge and the recipe book), but maybe book it on a different site, not Viator.
We all had an amazing time! My adult children Husband and I had a wonderful time! One of our favorite things we did!
What a fun experience! Our chef was fantastic and made the class so much fun. The food turned out great and would highly recommend doing this pasta class!
Simone was an incredible host/chef/teacher. Our family of four, along with six new friends, learned how to make three types of pasta and then enjoyed two pasta dishes, organic wine and a chocolate dessert which was paired with limoncello. Included in our teachings were helpful hints on not only the creation of the pasta but also the ingredients for great sauces. It was such a fun time!
We had a wonderful time at the Pastamania class. My husband and I attended with our two boys (13 and 11), and they were thrilled with the pasta they made — my youngest now calls it his new favorite. It’s a great experience for anyone looking to enjoy a hands‑on pasta‑making session followed by a truly delicious meal.
