Det är mycket tystare och mer orörd än det klassiska regnbågsberget Vinicunca. Denna turné är lämplig för alla konditionsnivåer, med så många pauser för att hämta andan som du behöver! Under denna tur kommer du att se 3 olika, vackra färgade berg. På vägen dit kommer du att kunna se alpackor och lamor i deras naturliga livsmiljö och efteråt besöka en kolonial bro.

Bilresan till Palccoyo är cirka 3,5 timmar innan vi gör det första stoppet i Combapata. När vi når Palccoyo-passet kommer vi att gå uppför i cirka 40-50 minuter (5000m/16,400ft). Här kommer du att ha spektakulär panoramautsikt över tre Rainbow Mountain Palccoyo-toppar samt det högsta berget i Cusco-regionen (Ausangate). Vi kommer att tillbringa ungefär en timme här med att ta bilder och njuta av den fantastiska utsikten. Efter detta tar vi oss tillbaka till vår privata transport för att bege oss till Checacupe där vi kommer att besöka dess fantastiska koloniala bro (vi kommer att spendera cirka 20 minuter här för att ta bilder och utforska området). Efter detta kommer vi att ha tid att njuta av en utsökt lunch gjord av lokalbefolkningen. Vi tar sedan vår privata transport tillbaka till Cusco (cirka 2,5 timmars bilresa). Vi är tillbaka i Cusco runt 17:00 och släpper dig till ditt hotell.
Det är viktigt att nämna att rutten för att åka till Palccoyo är ny eftersom det är en relativt ny attraktion, därför kan vägarna vara mycket krokiga i ungefär en timme varje väg eftersom regeringen inte har asfalterat dem ännu.

We did a bunch of excursions while in the Cusco region and this is the only one that was managed well. The guide and driver were great, the meals were great and the mountains were amazing. Dress warm for the morning drive and know that you can leave your excess things in the van while you hike.

We had an experience. We were a group of 3 friends along with other people in a mini bus. There thing was very well organised. The guide who came along with us helped us in every step. He helped in climbing the mountain without any difficulty.

The tour is easy to hike. You need to be acclimated The Guide and the driver took care of us (seniors) a ton. Unfortunately the confirmed pickup time by Viator 6.30am did‘t fit to the time of our real pickup (4.30h information by the company). Maybe our special problem. Nevertheless A great impression.

Regarding the pickup time, there can occasionally be a discrepancy between the time shown on Viator and the actual departure time we communicate directly, we're sorry for any confusion that caused and will look into how we can make that clearer upfront. Excellent accommodation options, very attentive to our needs and above all we were taken care of very much and there was very good communication. Definitely highly recommended.

So pleased we did this tour! The altitude took our breath away but not as much as the rainbow mountains - they were awesome. I can’t believe how many there were. Very glad we did the tour with Into Peru as they were super. Punctual, friendly and well organised. An unforgettable day!

We thoroughly enjoyed this day trip, just be aware it’s at nearly 5000m altitude so you need to take your time to catch your breath - we are in our fifties! Everyone was very accommodating and the colorful mountains are a treat. We enjoyed the small group and transport was good. All round a fun and memorable day.

Totally adored this tour! The mountains are super pretty and we walked with a cute alpaca which a local man had there. Our group were so fun and Into Peru were fantastic. Had to take it slow because of the altitude but that was fine. Absolutely recommend!
