Ostuni: Matlagningskurs för familjen i vårt lantställe

We absolutely loved our experience from the moment we were warmly greeted at the gate by Angela and Agnese. They invited us into their home and took such care with us and our three children. The cooking and preparing process and set up was both gorgeous and practical. The class was just the five of us and another couple, small enough for assistance and personal attention with enough of us to create a fun atmosphere. Our kids 14, 12 and 7 were all loving it and the family all loved them too. Sitting around the family table with Mama, Papa and Agnese was a delight and a huge highlight of our trip to Ostuni. Highly highly recommended.

Thank you to Agnese and Angela for welcoming us so warmly into their Ostuni country home and teaching us how to make three traditional dishes - a starter of baked vegetables; orecchiette and macaroni pasta; and an almond biscuit. It was a privilege to select food from their garden which has nurtured many generations and to be guided with such passion and expertise in the making of our meal, which we then had the pleasure of sharing with their family and one other couple in our class. We learnt so much! And we will definitely be trying these recipes when we return home to the other side of the world! We cannot recommend this authentic family cooking class more highly! It will remain a treasured memory from our travels in Puglia.

It was a wonderful night. The hosts were gracious and lovely. We enjoyed the cooking portion but sharing in the meal after was most memorable. We highly recommend this experience.

We had an absolute blast doing this activity. Agnese and family were so welcoming and kind in their beautiful home. We enjoyed multiple traditional Italian dishes straight from their gardens. The dinner filled with laughs, good food, and joy was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you Agnese and family!

This was a major highlight on our trip to Puglia! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly into Agnese’s family home. The class was hands-on with clear explanations of 4 dishes we made, and we learned a lot about local ingredients and traditional Puglia cooking. One of my favorite parts was picking ingredients straight from their expansive garden and using them in the dishes we prepared. After cooking, we shared a delicious al fresco dinner with the family in their home, where we got to ask tons of questions about Puglia culture. They even gave us a tour of their home and let us taste their homemade digestifs afterwards! If you’re looking for more than just a cooking class and want an authentic experience in Puglia, I can’t recommend this experience highly enough. Thank you to Agnese and her wonderful parents for their amazing hospitality!

This was amazing!! One of our favorite travel activities. The family was warm, welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable and we had an amazing meal. It felt better and more personal than the more institutional style cooking classes we've done elsewhere. I highly recommend this activity.

We had the most incredible experience with this cooking class, located just outside of Ostuni. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into Agnese’s beautiful family home and truly treated like part of the family. The class itself was hands-on and so much fun. Agnese and her mother guided us through every step of the process, and we prepared several courses of absolutely delicious food. The best part of the evening was sitting down to dinner with their entire family—it was such a heartwarming and authentic experience to share a meal together in their home. Agnese and her family could not have been more open, friendly, and welcoming. If you are looking for an intimate, genuine connection to local culture and amazing food, I cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

It was wonderful. !!! The family was so warm and welcoming. . We learned how to make pasta , fried sage, and custard. We had so much fun making the pasta, drinking wine, and being in their lovely home. I highly recommend you experience this class.!! I give it 5 stars.

Agnese and Angela were such lovely hostesses for our cooking class. We were running late and they were so kind in waiting for us to arrive - even offering to assist! They were so warm and inviting into their lovely home. We had so much fun cooking, laughing and learning about their land & way of living. I highly recommend this cooking experience!
