Kliv in i en av Gamla Montreals mest slående byggnader, ett före detta storbanksförvandlat kafé, för en klassisk rökt laxbagel som sparkar igång din Secret Food Tours-upplevelse med stil. Därifrån kan du vandra längs kullerstensgatorna till en lokal epikeri för en Québec-ost- och charkbräda full av regionala smaker (på utvalda dagar byts detta mot något sött istället). Därefter kommer vårt hemliga stopp: en plats som lokalbefolkningen älskar och de flesta turister aldrig hittar. Denna grekiska taverna ligger inbäddad på en historisk gata och serverar äkta medelhavsrätter: tänk fräscha sallader, hemmagjorda dopp och grillade specialiteter. Exakt vad du kommer att smaka förblir en överraskning tills du är där. Ingen resa genom Montreal är komplett utan poutine, så vi håller det klassiskt: krispiga pommes frites, pipig ostmassa och rik sås. Provinsens bästa komfort mat! I always enjoy food tours when visiting a city. Chantal was a lively and fun guide and we had a great tour and tastings of wonderful dishes -- especially the Montreal style bagels, poutine, and the maple ice cream! Very enjoyable afternoon!

Sandy was our guide. Lots of food, substantial portions at 3 of the 6 stops. Our tour was 1-4pm and we didn’t need dinner! The tour was 50% food and 50% information/history which was ideal. 14 of us on the tour and she knew everyone‘s name!

Very easy to consume tour, with nice food stops at each point. It definitely shows the different flavors that make up the city, guide was not trying to be stuffy or gatekeeping, much appreciated ! Guide was also really patient with the entire group, some had issues keeping up and he was accommodating for all of us.
