Efter att ha betalat för din entrébiljett vid porten, kommer du att gå uppför genom en vacker trädgård och nå Demeters tempel, ett av Naxos mest betydelsefulla antika monument. Du kommer att lära dig om helgedomens historia och har också lite ledig tid att besöka museet på plats. Demetertemplet är stängt på tisdagar och den 1 maj och istället ges mer ledig tid i byarna Chalki och Apiranthos.
I den lilla byn Damalas kommer Manolis varmt välkomna dig till sin traditionella keramikverkstad och avslöja uråldriga hemligheter inom hans konst. Efteråt kommer du att besöka det restaurerade olivpressmuseet och lära dig allt om det gamla förfarandet för produktion av olivolja.
Fortsätt till Chalki, ett gammalt kommersiellt centrum och en plats för vacker venetiansk arkitektur. Du kommer att ha cirka 45' ledig tid att utforska själva. Missa inte det äldsta destilleriet på ön – Vallindras destilleri – som ligger mitt i byn, de sofistikerade keramiska konstgallerierna och de mysiga butikerna med souvenirer och lokala produkter.
Gör sedan ett långt stopp vid den berömda byn Apiranthos som ligger vid foten av berget Fanari. Beundra den vackra utsikten över de venetianska tornen, marmorerade gränder, mysiga tavernor, verandor och traditionella butiker. Här kommer du att ha ledig tid för lunch - bra tillfälle att smaka på de lokala recepten på "rosto" och "kalogiros".
När du kör förbi byn Koronos och de berömda smärgelgruvorna kommer du till Apollonas. Få ledig tid i den pittoreska fiskebyn för att ta ett snabbt dopp och njuta av en kaffe eller öken vid havet.
Avsluta din tur med ett besök på den ökända "Kouros", en ofullbordad marmorstaty på 11 meter, liggande på samma plats i mer än 2500 år!

Great experience with thanos and his trusty side guy vasillis, when you get not one but two naxian locals showing you around their own island, you can’t get a more thorough experience I would say, keep up the good work fellas!
Fantastic tour lots of really great historical and mythological information provided with lots of laughs and a fabulous driver . Great spot for lunch with lots of choices .
The tour was wonderful! We saw beautiful places and experienced the real Greece—its landscapes, customs, and traditions. It was a fun and enriching experience. Thanos is a fantastic guide—highly knowledgeable and personable—who knows how to make the tour truly enjoyable! A big thank you goes to him and to the driver, Vasilis, who was excellent and drove very safely.
Thanos was a wonderful guide throughout the entire tour. It was a convenient way to travel and see parts of Naxos that our family of 5 would not have easily been able to do.
It was an amazing tour!!! We saw historical places, enjoyed the magical landscape of the mountains and the sea! Experienced the overwelming beauty of central and northern Naxos. Guide was very entertaining, providing information about many aspects of history and life on the island. Many thanks to Thanos and Vasilis for this memorable experience!!

We had a wonderful time on the full day tour with Thanos and Vasilis!! Our guide Thanos was so incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He kept the tour entertaining and shared such great information about the island and its history as well as his own experiences growing up in Naxos. It was definitely a huge highlight of our trip. The stops were great and the timing of everything was very organized and well thought out. Overall I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Naxos, especially to get a taste of the island when you first arrive and of it’s culture and history.
This was a great tour! It passed through several villages in the mountains and we learned a lot about Naxos. The temple of Demeter was awesome to see. Thanks was our guide and he was so knowledgeable. Amazing! I would do it again in a heart beat.
Excellent shared bus tour of the island of Naxos with a tour guide. We left in the morning from the port of Naxos Chora, then headed to visit the Temple of Demeter – Damalas - Chalki – Apiranthos - Apollonas and the Kouros statue. During the journey and the various stops, the guide explained and told us in English about the history of the island and all the most interesting points. The management of the timing at the various stops was also excellent, which allowed us to see everything calmly but also to return to the city on time around 5:00 PM. Recommended for those who want a comfortable and complete view of the entire island.
A great introductory tour of the island. The guide was friendly and informative, though you spend a lot of time in the locations without the guide. The cultural elements like the pottery workshop and old olive oil place were great. The day went fast and I would have liked more time at some of the stops, but it's great to get a feel for the villages and then come back later to explore more if you want. Really good value for money
