Njut av en 3-timmars guidad tur från Funchal, utforska vackra landskap och historiska platser. Besök Nuns Valley, stanna vid Pico dos Barcelos för att ta in den hisnande vyn och våga in i Eira do Serrado, där du kan se Nuns Valley nedan. Du börjar din turné på Belvedere. Pico dos Barcelos har en observationsplats i utkanten av Funchal, den är 355 m. Det finns en magnifik utsikt över Funchal från utsidan, där du stannar i cirka 15 minuter.
Du kommer sedan till Eira do Serrado, med utsikt över "Curral das Freiras" en hästskoformad dal långt nedanför. Utsikten har tre stora sidor som skär in i de tagrade topparna på Madeira. Här ansågs felaktigt att Madeiras högsta berg hade varit en vulkanisk krater. Det är nu känt att dess dramatiska geografiska form skapades av floden själv. Därefter kommer du att gå vidare till Village of Nuns Valley - Curral das Freiras. Dalen ligger i en enorm naturlig amfiteater, omgiven av några av Madeiras högsta toppar. Byn grundades på 1500-talet av nunnorna i klostret "Santa Clara" i Funchal, varifrån nunnorna flydde från piratattacker 1566. Byns centrum ligger på en liten höjd mitt i dalen . Du kommer att stanna där i cirka 30 minuter

Hair raising turns through the mountain to reach the view point for Nun's Valley. Glad I had taken my gravol. The view is spectacular once you reach the top. Unbelievable that a village can be found in such a deep valley. The tunnel to reach the village is just over 2 kilometers long. Quaint village.

Really enjoyable half day trip. Manuel the courier was very good giving all sorts of information via commentary. The views from the nuns valley are spectacular.

My husband was up for doing a half day tour and this was one of the only options so we went for it. Manuel, our tour guide was incredible, very knowledgeable and a very safe driver. I was concerned for my husband who gets car sick and is not a fan of driving at high heights but Manuel took his time and knew the roads well. The best part was Eira do Serrado; stunning views even though we had quite a cloudy afternoon. We got given enough time at each of the stops and overall, thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for something to do that doesn’t take up your whole day.

Punctual pickup by the driver, who was also an excellent guide. He knew a lot about Madeira and the destination, drew our attention to several plants along the way, each of which he seemed to know. All in all, a highly recommended tour.

Exquisite nature and views (if only I would be able to see them well without rain and fog). It’s a short tour, so can be combined with something else.

Pick up was on time but we were the last on the bus and we sat in the front seats which were very cramped for two tall adults. The mini bus was small but well driven. The stops were good with plenty of opportunities for shopping.
We are glad to hear that the pick-up was on time and that the minibus was well driven, which is essential for comfort on the island's roads. However, we sincerely apologize that the seating arrangement resulted in a cramped experience, particularly the front seats being very cramped for two tall adults.We will take your feedback into consideration regarding seat allocation for taller passengers when possible.
