Se Japans unika och traditionella sport Sumo med en kunnig reseledare. Om du är i Japan i juli, bör du inte missa det! (turneringarna äger rum 6 gånger per år; 3 gånger i Tokyo, en gång i Osaka, Nagoya respektive Fukuoka. Varje turnering varar i 15 dagar. ) Om du vill se sumo tar det ungefär två timmar med Shinkansen från Tokyo, och ungefär en timme med Shinkansen från Kyoto. Varför inte passa på att besöka Nagoya för att titta på sumo? Möt din engelsktalande guide och promenera till stadion. Din guide går igenom vad som är Sumo, dess historia och regler innan du går in i arenan och ger dig ytterligare tips mellan matcherna. Känn den intensiva, seriösa atmosfären i turneringen medan du är fri att ta några öl, Yakitori (spett), etc.. hos försäljaren inne på arenan och äta / dricka på din plats. *Mat och dryck ingår inte i denna tur.

Really enjoyed having a guide to explain the incredible history and rich tradition of sumo wrestling. Miki prepared helpful handouts and taught us about how was popular, where people were from, etc. She did a great job!
It was a bucket list event for me and it lived up to my expectations Admission Fee was a little bit expensive but overall it was still good value Our guide from Japan Wonder Travel ( red group ) was extremely good and her insights were awesome as she is obviously a fan of Sumo Great Day
Well paced for shopping, getting a snack and watching the main matches. Nobu provided excellent info prior to us getting to the arena.

A great day out . Only the most inexpensive seats were available when we signed up, but we had a great view of the matches.

We had such a fantastic at the Sumo Grand Tournament in Nagoya! Our guide, Joji, was a wonderful host and he really made this experience not only exciting but educational. He took the time to sit with us, explain the rules of Sumo and how the Tournament works. He also gave us lots of background info on the wrestlers, which helped us really appreciate the athletic styles and personalities of the Sumo wrestlers. We had excellent seats, and a perfect view of the action, and all the details of the day were handled on our behalf making this an stress-free and full enjoyable day! I’d highly recommend this excursion to anyone interested in experiencing an authentic part of Japanese culture!
