Inbäddat bland södra Alperna, ovanför en liten alpstad som är hem för vår längsta glaciär och många kända vandringsleder. Ge dig ut på en endags liten grupptur till Mount Cook. Avresa från Queenstown kommer du att uppleva de unika alpina landskapen i södra Alperna när du reser in i Mackenzie Country och Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. Njut av fritiden i Mt Cook Village, där du kan välja att utforska det otroliga landskapet, på en lokal kort vandring, naturskön flygning eller en lugn eftermiddag tillbringade i byn.

Efter att ha lämnat Queenstown är vårt första ikoniska stopp Cromwell, "Fruit Bowl of the South", och dess stora fruktskulpturer. Cromwell är navet i centrala Otago, den berömda vinregionen för Pinot Noir.
På bilresan till Mount Cook kommer vi att resa genom det dramatiska Lindispasset. Förundras över det spektakulära höga landskapet när vi passerar från centrala Otago till Mackenzie Basin.
Vi gör ett kort stopp vid den pittoreska byn Omarama där du har möjlighet att få ett mellanmål eller mat att ta med till lunch i Mt Cook. Härifrån tar vi oss förbi Twizel-kanalerna, på väg mot Pukakisjöns klarblåa vatten.
Innan vi går in i Mount Cook Village kommer vi att stanna vid stranden av Lake Pukaki, den största sjön i området, och stolt visa upp Nya Zeelands högsta topp, Aoraki/ Mount Cook.
Välkommen till Mount Cook Village. Här kommer du att ha lite ledig tid att njuta av denna dramatiska plats. Välj att ta en promenad till Lake Mueller för en närbild av Mt Seftons glaciärer, vandra längs Hooker Valley Track eller ta chansen att uppleva en av de otroliga aktiviteterna Mt Cook har att erbjuda.
Vi börjar sedan resan tillbaka till Queenstown. Efter en hektisk dag med att beskåda sevärdheterna, ta chansen att koppla av och njuta av det otroliga landskapet. Vi ger dig chansen att sträcka på benen under hela resan och återvända tillbaka till Queenstown ca 19:30.

- Hooker Valley Trek är en DOC (Department of Conservation) vandringsled, och vi rekommenderar att endast de med medelhög kondition fullföljer hela leden (väder väntar). Vi har en strikt avgångstid från Mt Cook Village och alla vandrare måste återvända vid den tiden.

The trip was amazing and contained a few highlights, including the hooker valley trek and a paid upgrade option to experience alpine snow landing. Everything was smoothly organised and run by the tour operators (altitude) and our guide for the day, Sinchan, was amazing, helpful and super knowledgeable.

Tour to Mount Cook was fantastic. Lovely sunny day meant beautiful views both along the way and at Mount Cook. Walked to Hooker Trail for more great views. James and Nicole were great- friendly and informative. Altitude tours ran everything well from great communication before tour, pickup on time and comfy van. Will tour with them again!!.

We absolutely loved our Mount Cook day trip with Stuart and Caleb! We got lucky with a beautifully clear day and our time at Mount Cook and the Hooker Valley Track walk and Alpine Center lunch was perfect. Our guides had entertaining and informational commentary and we enjoyed getting to chat with them and learning more about the area. We even had time for a few fun stops on the way and got to see more of the landscape. We would 100% book with Altitude again!

Our first tour going to Mt. Cook was full of knowledge, smiles and laughter even when we were still in the van. SinChan deserves a pay rise, promotion and an award. He is such a passionate tour guide. His vibe is just amazing. We had a number of tour guides before but this man is just outstanding in all aspects. Absolutely incredible day tour from Queenstown to Mount Cook National Park. Sinchan was our driver and tour guide and would absolutely recommend him. He was energetic, fun and very knowledgeable! The drive itself was beautiful as was Mount Cook National Park. As per Sinchan’s recommendation we did a 25 minute helicopter ride which was an experience I recommend for all! Landing ontop of a mountain and looking down at a glacier was incredible! Definitely the highlight of the trip

We had such an amazing time to Mt Cook yesterday. We made multiple stops along the way with the most stunning views. We were also lucky enough to do a 25minute helicopter ride which was such a bucket list moment. We couldn’t recommend our tour guide enough - Sinchan was so knowledgeable and made our experience so smooth and comfortable.

Did the tour to Mt Cook and option of 25 min yesterday 24 April. Tour guide Chelsea was very knowledgeable and ensured we all had a great time. Even stopped to get an awesome sunset photo on the way back to Queenstown. Recommend the Heli ride ! Bonkaz!

Allegra was a great tour guide- a literal Unicorn! My 19 year old son and I had a great time on the very nice van up to Mount Cook. We got some amazing pictures, good food, and a seamless helicopter ride! I would totally do it again!
