We had an amazing trip to Mount Bromo with our guide, Riza! From the start, everything was perfectly organized, so we could just relax and enjoy the experience. Riza knows so much about the area and was always happy to answer all of our questions. He shared lots of interesting information, which made the trip even more enjoyable. On top of that, he also took some really beautiful photos of us, so we have great memories to look back on. If you’re planning a trip to Bromo, we can definitely recommend going with Riza. We had an amazing experience with Melati during our tour in East Java. From the very beginning, she was incredibly kind, caring, polite, and always attentive to our needs. She made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout the entire journey. Watching the sunrise at Mount Bromo was absolutely breathtaking, and Melati made the experience even more special by sharing interesting information, making sure everything went smoothly, and always being there whenever we needed anything. The hike up to the crater was unforgettable, and thanks to her support and encouragement, we enjoyed every moment. The visit to Manakaripura Waterfall was another highlight of our trip. The scenery was stunning, and Melati’s organization and positive attitude allowed us to fully enjoy every part of the adventure without any worries. She is not only an excellent guide but also a genuinely wonderful person. Her warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm made this one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. We had a wonderful day trip with Melati to Mount Bromo. We were picked up from the hotel on time and then we headed towards Bromo. Melati was very respectful, interested, open, and warm, spoke German, and was able to tell us a lot about the culture, nature, country, and people. At Mount Bromo, we went up the volcano at our own pace; we had enough time to look at everything, enjoy the view, and take photos. Melati also kept showing us great spots and offered to take photos for us. We were very lucky and were almost alone on the volcano (unlike the sunrise tour). Afterwards, we drove to a spot with few tourists to watch the sunset together. Before heading back to the hotel, there was a very delicious local meal at a local restaurant. Overall, the tour was a highlight of our trip to Indonesia. Melati was simply fantastic, we can only recommend her! If you have the opportunity, take the sunset tour and ask for Melati :)
We had an incredible time exploring Mt Bromo with our guide Bara, and we can't recommend him highly enough. His English was excellent — clear, natural, and easy to follow — which made communication effortless throughout the trip. What really set Bara apart was his knowledge of the area and his genuine effort to make the most of our visit. He took us to some fantastic spots that were refreshingly free of the usual tourist crowds, giving us the space to soak in the breathtaking landscape at our own pace. It was clear he really cared about the quality of our experience.

We have been on the Bromo-Ijen 2d1n trip. Nice and comfy car, had a good hotel, great food. Bara did speak great english, was helpfull and kind all the time. Starting the day 2x in a row at midnight is tough, but sunrise was beautiful. Highly recommended!
We booked a 2D1N trip through SeekSophie for the reassurance of an English speaking guide. The itinerary was very well-planned and timely, Bara is always on time and very friendly towards us even from before the trip started. He is knowledgeable about our destinations and always keeps us engaged throughout the hike. Logistic was settled by them, including admission fee, accoms, travel vehicle, food, and water. The experience was very smooth sailing without much hiccups. It wasn't too crowded as we were not yet at peak season, and the experience was quite peaceful and not rushed at all. The hike wasn't too difficult, with mostly flat ground and then a steep climb up some stairs to the crater. Overall, would recommend this for those looking for a simple hike with beautiful sights.
We had such an amazing experience on this tour and a huge part of that was because of our guide, Bara, and our driver, Toby. Bara was incredibly friendly, funny, and spoke such good English that he even understood internet slang, which made everything feel super natural and easy. He gave us so many useful tips throughout the trip and explained the history behind Bromo so well, including how the volcanic formations were created. It made the experience so much more meaningful instead of just looking at scenery. He also knew exactly how to make certain moments more special. At the crater viewpoint, he told us not to look yet until we reached the best spot, and honestly the reveal made the view hit so much harder. The sunrise spot he brought us to at Bromo was absolutely perfect too. Toby was also an amazing driver — super smooth and safe driving throughout the whole journey. We literally knocked out and slept every car ride because it felt so comfortable and safe LOL. The journeys were pretty long too, so it was really nice that we could adjust the air conditioning ourselves anytime during the ride, which made everything way more comfortable. Both the Bromo and Ijen views were unreal and this ended up being one of the best travel experiences we’ve had. Would 100% recommend this tour, especially with Bara and Toby.
It was a great great experience! We had our guide, Bara, who brought us around and really made sure everything went smoothly. He even shared with us some interesting historical background of how the volcanoes formed over the years! Bara is also super easy to chat with and he really made us feel comfortable. Also shout out to Toby, who drove us around and ensured that we reached each destination on time! (We were always ahead of schedule😆)
