Monkey Mangrove-turné

Alex was an excellent tour guide and got us what he promised for the experience. Hearing his stories from his life was illuminating and very entertaining. Our kids also thoroughly enjoyed the monkey encounter.

Request Crazy Alex & he will show up...doesn't disappoint!! He even helped other tour guides give the people a great experience. Been training the animals for 5 years to come to him & he can make all the sounds. He is personable and so much fun!!! I greeted us at our van with a monkey call. 😂 Be sure to bring cash so you can tip him well. His eye for finding animals is incredible!! This man even went up to a Viper snake in flip flops to get photos for us! Highly recommend Crazy Alex!!!

If you get crazy Alex don't expect a quiet trip but very funny and entertaining Awesome trip . We saw monkeys snakes bats birds and lots of lizards (all shapes and sizes) and even camen great fun

Crazy Alex makes this worth every penny and more. He is fun, entertaining, and a fabulous teacher. I went on this tour with friends and enjoyed it so much that I booked it again for our family which included two teens. I didn’t think I could enjoy it more the second time, but I actually did. Alex clearly has dedicated his personal and professional life to build a beautiful relationship with all that exists in the mangrove. He simply loves his work and it shows.

One of the funnest tours we have ever been on. Alex was hilarious and informative. Keep our attention the whole time. He is the true monkey whisperer!! And every other animal because he does amazing animal and bird imitation.

Tour was all we expected and so much more! We expected to see monkeys, but our guide Alex made sure we actually learned about the mangrove forest and surrounding flora and fauna. The length of the trip was just right, and spent entirely on the boat. Shuttle driver was prompt, and very accommodating along the way.

Had a fabulous time with our guide Crazy Alex. He kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. He was even able to have us meet with his capuchin friends! Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour for any animal lovers who want to get up close to animals you wouldn't normally see.

It was fun. Spotted a little wildlife but the highlight is the interaction with the monkeys. U go down a small canal and then turn around and come back. Nothing exciting but it is a good way to chill and spend the day. Alex was a good guide and our van driver to and fro was a really nice and helpful guy too.

This is the only experience during our Costa Rican vacation that met our expectations. It is a very long drive from Los Suenos, but our driver, Jesus, made it a pleasure with his information about the area and culture. We were lucky enough to get Crazy Alex as our tour guide and he lives up to his nickname. He is extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and he is funny and very entertaining. The monkey encounter exceeded our expectations. We got very upclose and person with these adorable creatures. It is a memory that we will cherish for a long time.

We had a marvelous time with “Crazy Alex”. He impressed us all with his knowledge of bird calls, all their scientific names and his knowledge of the animals that live in the mangroves. He spotted a sloth in a faraway tree that we never would have seen and had a monkey eating bananas out of our hands. Book with “Crazy Alex” and you won’t be disappointed! He lived up to his name for sure!!
