This was truly unexpected and quite a pleasant surprise for us. We had initially planned to visit Milford Sound during our trip, but unfortunately, our schedule only allowed for a single day in Queenstown. Given the limited time and the fact that we didn't want to spend our precious day inside a van on a long drive, we faced a bit of a dilemma. We knew Milford Sound was famous for its breathtaking scenery and iconic fjord landscape, but fitting it into our tight itinerary seemed challenging. Fortunately, Lena at Discover Queenstown came to our rescue. She was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the process. When we explained our situation and our wish to experience the beauty of Milford Sound without sacrificing our comfort and time, she immediately shared some fantastic ideas with us. Lena suggested a day trip that would maximize our experience while minimizing the hours spent traveling in transportation. She took into account our preferences, the limited time we had, and the need to enjoy the scenery comfortably. Lena went above and beyond by handling all the arrangements. Arriving at Milford Sound, we were awestruck by the sheer natural beauty surrounding us. The towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and pristine waters were even more magnificent than we had imagined. The cruise we took was incredibly smooth and relaxing, giving us ample time to soak in the scenery and take countless photos. It truly felt like a bucket-list experience come to life. Reflecting on the entire process and the trip itself, we couldn’t have been more grateful for Lena’s assistance. Her exceptional service transformed what could have been a stressful logistical challenge into a seamless and memorable adventure. Her dedication and expertise made a significant difference in our experience. We left Milford Sound with incredible memories, stunning photographs, and a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of New Zealand. The team at True South Flights was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Our pilot, Luke, was great as was our van driver, Sam (who picked us up at our hotel and returned us as well). To say that the sights and sounds were amazing undersells the experience.

Amazing experience all around. Great True South team at the office and a great pilot (Luke) provided a very enjoyable and seamless experience. That combined with a great cruise from Pure Milford provided one of the most memorable experiences.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The flight over Milford Sound was breathtaking, and seeing the mountains, lakes, and glaciers from the air was something I’ll never forget. A huge thank you to Michael, our pilot, who made the trip even better. His commentary throughout the flight was informative and engaging, explaining the scenery we were flying over while keeping everyone entertained with his friendly personality and funny jokes. He made the whole experience that little bit better! I couldn’t recommend True South Flights more highly. If you get Michael as your pilot, you’re in for an amazing (and safe!) flight!

An absolutely fantastic experience. Clear communication prior to the flight, seamless experience on the day. The pilot Luke was friendly and knowledgeable, and let our young son sure in the copilot's seat. The views from the plane were stupendous, and Milford Sound was stunning.

Words cannot describe the experience we had on this trip. The flight and cruise and flight back had something for everyone. The flight was very informative and everything was just great!
