DON’T TAKE THIS CRUISE! We were scheduled to depart at 12:30 and the boat operator had not begun loading the passengers by that time. I asked if the boat would arrive back on time because we had an appointment to make. The operator did not seem concerned by my request and said they could not guarantee a return time. I asked for a refund and their response was very dismissive. I reached out to Viator who also declined my request for a refund. DON’T TAKE THIS CRUISE!
The email we received from Viator giving the meeting point and times was completely wrong. We are a family of four and had really been looking forward to this excursion. We were told to meet by the red umbrellas outside the Hard Rock Cafe. We walked over to the Hard Rock Cafe, but there were no red umbrellas anywhere. We asked around and were told that the meeting point was at the other end of the bay. We walked all the way there, only to then be told it was actually under a yellow umbrella outside the Hard Rock Cafe. By this point, we were panicking because we thought we were in danger of missing the boat. With around 30 minutes until the stated sailing time, we rushed back towards the Hard Rock Cafe for the second time. While rushing, my wife slipped on the decking, twisted her ankle and badly cut her knee. While we were treating her bleeding knee, we asked yet more staff at the various stands where we were supposed to go. We were then told we needed to head to the middle of the dock and queue there. Eventually, we found a lady who scanned our tickets. I explained that the instructions in the email were shocking and had sent us backwards and forwards around the dock. All we received was a half-hearted apology under her breath. To make matters worse, we then discovered that the sailing time shown in the email was wrong anyway and we were actually early! We waited on a bench and, around 30 minutes later, a man appeared and announced that people could board. As we stood up, despite having been there first, we were told to go to the back of the queue. At that point, I had had enough and told him that wasn't going to happen and that we would be boarding. Once aboard, the boat itself was okay, but nothing special. The seats were uncomfortable and, depending on which way you were facing, it wasn't particularly easy to see the sights. The tour itself was also okay, but again, nothing special. The young lad taking the drinks orders was at least considerate enough to ask my wife if she was okay after seeing her bleeding leg. Although the tour company wasn't directly responsible for my wife falling, the simple truth is that it would never have happened if the meeting instructions had been accurate and we hadn't been sent rushing backwards and forwards around the dock. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this boat tour. The organisation from start to finish was extremely poor, and the standards of customer service and communication left a lot to be desired.

It was a Good Experience but we advise to make a tour Also around Ocean Drive and Key Biscayne Island

Firstly the Bayside Marketplace is a complete tourist trap. Business owners and staff press ganged you into buying their products and services when you were browsing or just walking through. Miami aqua tours sent me an email which I didn’t received until after I had set off and parked up, stating that the time of my tour had changed to one a hour later. This meant I had to pay for extra parking and had to rearrange my after plans which was a shame it was out last day in Miami. Boat then departed late as the one staff member was busy taking photos of each group of customers to stand next to an imitation wooden boat wheel for a picture which they tried to upsell later during the tour. Whilst aboard some random guy approached us to fill out a card with information about our spending . Your guide was good but overall, an experience to forget.

Regarding Bayside Marketplace, it is a public shopping and entertainment destination with many different businesses operating independently. While we understand that the atmosphere may feel very commercial, the actions of individual vendors are not controlled by Miami Aqua Tours. Regarding the schedule change, according to the Terms and Conditions agreed to at the time of booking, if a vessel becomes unavailable for any operational reason, the reservation may be moved to the next available vessel. This is done to ensure that the tour can operate as scheduled rather than being canceled. The updated departure time was communicated using the contact information provided with the reservation. Regarding the departure and the photos, our boarding process includes several operational steps before sailing. The photo opportunity is optional and does not prevent guests from boarding or participating in the tour. Photos are offered separately for guests who are interested in purchasing them. Regarding the card you were asked to complete, this was not part of the Miami Aqua Tours tour operation. We recommend declining requests from third parties if you do not wish to participate in their surveys or promotions. We’re glad to hear that you found our guide to be good.
