I denna stad är designen och presentationen av platserna lika stor del av den övergripande upplevelsen som mat och vin. Förutom att njuta av en utsökt mat- och vinupplevelse, kommer du också att lära dig om Melbournes förlagda förflutna och excentriska kultur idag.

Melbournes kärlek till mat och vin har gett upphov till experter med vinproducenter och kändisar som har gjort staden till Australiens kulinariska huvudstad. Medan du är där, missa inte denna chans att uppleva matscenen i Melbourne på sitt bästa. Möt sommelieren, som kommer att presentera tre flygningar (prover) av hans eller hennes favoritviner från vinlistan och prata dig genom provsmakningen. Små tallrikar kommer att beredas av kocken för att komplettera vinerna. What a great way to spend our last night in Melbourne. We met up with Fiona for our progressive wine and food experience. Fiona was a delight as she gave us Melbourne history and pointed out sights as we walked to and from thee restaurants. The wines and food arranged were all superb and by the time we got to our last stop it was a little difficult to finish our offerings. We had plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the food and wine and had great conversation.

What a delightful experience with Fiona! We had such a wonderful time with lots of laughter and exchange of stories! Fiona is a great story teller and she brings the history of Melbourne to live in a fun way! We got to know great restaurants hidden in little nooks and alleys, best of all, the pairing with the wine and food experience is fantastic! If you are a foodie, this is something you must sign up!

Absolute 5 star experience with Fiona our tour guide - I've lived in Melbourne my entire life and yet I learnt so much, about so many of the little details and the history about our beautiful city that Fiona pointed out as we walked from place to place. The restaurants we visited were welcoming, and delicious! So much food! Can 100% recommend this for anyone wanting to learn more about Melbourne, visit some of the best restaurants, whether you're a local or a visitor!

If I could give this tour 10 Stars, I would! My friends and I scheduled this evening walking tour as a way to help us acclimate to Melbourne time after arriving from the USA early that morning. It was absolutely the perfect way to spend our first evening in Melbourne! Fiona Sweetman from Hidden Secrets Tours planned a wonderful evening at three restaurants with really excellent food and outstanding wine pairings. Ignore that old comment about not enough food, there was plenty. Fiona clearly has a solid rapport with the restauranteurs, as they were very happy to see us, and we had excellent service. The unexpected and delightful surprise was Fiona’s knowledge of Australian and Melbourne history. The entire evening was a really lovely introduction to Melbourne! Book this tour, you will not be disappointed.

An absolutely fantastic experience! The food was so delicious and varied! We started with an Asian fusion restaurant, then moved onto an Italian bistro and finished at an Argentinian steak house. The wines were paired perfectly with the dishes and the staff at each restaurant provided explanations of their restaurant, the menu and the dishes. Our guide, Catherine, was wonderful to talk to and full of information about the city and the food/wine scene in Melbourne. Bring your appetite - this is a must do if in Melbourne!
