Matlagning Upplev levande musik och traditionell dans i Naxos

This experience could not be more worthwhile and has been the highlight of our first time trip to Naxos. To be hosted among the native Naxos Greeks and spend the time cooking together, enjoying music and dancing among the natural sunlight, flowers and vegetation was a wonderful experience. We picked the vegetables, and were shown how to make the freshest food and breads in a traditional oven, and celebrated life with Naxos wine and music. The host also walked us around the area to visit the local churches, an old statues carved from Naxos marble. We felt a real connection with our hosts, the land and the rich cultural life on the island. It was everything we hoped to experience far from the touristed coast. (I also happened to mention to the host that it was my birthday and she baked me a delicious fresh Greek orange cake and sung happy birthday among the guests. I could not have been more thrilled and delighted!)

What an amazing Naxos traditional experience! This is a do not miss activity! What a lovely family; mom is an amazing cook and teacher; daughter in law expert guide, father was the farmer and violin player, we learned traditional Naxos dancing! What an amazing experience we will cherish from our travels. The food was outstanding!!!

Amazing experience and one of our favorite parts of the trip! This was an amazing day full of laughs, learning the Greek culture, exploring the farm and surrounding areas, cooking, eating, singing and dancing. The family who hosts the experience is absolutely amazing and so informative and kind. They taught us so much about the Greek culture of their food, farming, history, the area and environment, and not to mention, helped us make the most delicious meal! The experience starts around 11am and wraps around 3pm. Our family of 6 joined 2 other families and there were about 15 of us total. Couldn’t recommend this experience more!!!

This was the highlight of our time on Naxos. My entire family, including my 12 and 14 year olds loved picking fresh veggies from the garden as we learned about the farms history. Cooking in the beautiful outdoor setting was lovely and the food delicious! As the whole family was involved in hosting us, it felt as though we were joining them not as tourists but as their guests.

We got the gift of being part of Katerina’s family for the day. We toured the garden and picked some of the food that we prepared with love and traditional Naxos/Greek styles. The food was delicious but the family, location, farm, and music surpassed our expectations. Our favorite experience while touring the Cycladic Islands.

This is a multi generational family run business that is all about making you feel welcome , appreciating where your food comes from and introducing you to some beautiful aspects of Greek culture and hospitality. The love they have for their farm / home/ business is evident. It is not about making money from tourists - but about sharing the beautiful gift that is their livelihood. To pick your food from a gorgeous garden and then be taught how to turn it into an amazing meal is an amazing experience. To end the day serenaded with beautiful music and some dancing - outstanding! This tour was a top memory from an almost 2 week trip to Greece !

The Adonopoulou family is incredibly welcoming and offer a beautiful authentic Naxos experience. The farm is gorgeous, the cooking experience is special, the food is delicious, the music played by dad and son made it more than we could have hoped for. This was such a wonderful family and they were all so kind and generous! The food was delicious and the experience was incredible! It was our favorite thing we did on Naxos, couldn't recommend it more!

There’s no words to describe how amazing this experience was. Katerina and her family were so warm, kind, and welcoming, I truly felt like I was cooking and eating with my family. The farm is so beautiful and you can feel the energy that’s been there for generations. The whole experience was crafted so thoughtfully, from the cooking, the music, the dancing… I feel so fortunate to have been immersed in Naxian culture in this way.
