Du kommer att träffa din engelsktalande vinexpertguide vid Marseilles kryssningspir. Han kommer att köra dig i en bekväm minivan med luftkonditionering som rymmer upp till 8 personer. Du kommer att besöka 2 vingårdar under dagen, gå bakom kulisserna för att lära dig allt om vinframställningsprocessen medan du besöker de åldrande rummen. Din guide kommer att förklara dig om jorden, klimatet, druvsorterna, "terroiren" men också plockningen, beskärningen, grönskörden...på ett avslappnat och lärorikt sätt. Du kommer att smaka några av de finaste roséerna, kraftfulla och välbalanserade röda, och även aromatiska och livliga vita. Din guide kommer att lära dig hur du smakar som ett proffs Du kommer att få cirka 2 timmar ledig tid för lunch och besök i en av de vackraste städerna i området: den charmiga lilla hamnen i Cassis, eller den pittoreska byn Lourmarin eller den livliga och eleganta staden Aix en Provence. Du kommer att vara tillbaka till Marseilles kryssningshamn runt 16.30-16.30 (annan returtid är möjlig - kommer att definieras med dig efter din bokning).

Avgångspunkt: Vid Marseille Cruise Pier, där ditt kryssningsfartyg kommer att lägga till. När du går ut på kryssningsfartyget ser du flera guider som håller skyltar. Ungefär 5 minuter före vinturens avgångstid, leta efter någon som håller en "Provence Wine Tour"-skylt. Adress: Vi kan inte ge någon exakt adress eftersom det beror på var ditt kryssningsfartyg kommer att lägga till den dagen. (Det finns flera platser möjliga i den stora Marseille Cruise Port). Vi är dock i kontakt med hamnmyndigheterna och vi kommer att se till att komma till den dedikerade piren där ditt fartyg kommer att lägga till den dagen.

We had the most wonderful day with Jean-Gabriel. He took us to the best wineries and had a wealth of knowledge about wine and wine making which he readily shared with us. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely look for Jean-Gabriel the next time we are in the area.

A wonderful day of discovery with excellent wines, and what can I say about the Provençal decor! A short stop for lunch in Aix-en-Provence to discover the charm of the area. Very satisfied with our excursion and the guide Eric, who was very attentive.

This was the perfect tour for our family. Anya was a fantastic guide and took us to two fantastic wineries and then free time in Cassis. We had a fantastic lunch and my wife enjoyed strolling through the shops. Anya was very personable, knowledgeable and just a joy to be around. What a great tour!!

Great guide who was also the driver. He was very knowledgeable and patient with questions. The vehicle was extremely clean and his driving was impeccable. We visited two lovely wineries and got to spend a couple of hours in Aix.

Our driver was not at the ship at the scheduled time. No one informed us that he was going to be late so we got nervous and started walking to find him at perhaps another pier all the while trying to get in touch with Viator. We finally got in touch with Viator only to find out he was going to be late. Not a great start to ended up being a fabulous tour.

What an incredible company. Provence Wine Tours offered top notch service from the outset, and better than some other wine tour companies that I had communicated with previously. Laura was such a help creating the perfect itinerary for my family's first visit to France and determining what was possible during a short cruise excursion timeline. We had a wonderful experience on our tour with a professional guide, who explained quite a bit about the region itself and the food and wine and culinary processes. We went to two wineries met the owner in one and the manager in the other. We tasted three different wines at each winery And got to walk amongst the grapes in the vineyard. Between the two visits we got to relax and have a lunch in the seaside village of Cassie. This was a very picturesque little village right on the water with many cafés and shops close by. I would definitelyrecommend this tour to others. The small group was for six people, and it was me my wife, my mother-in-law, and my brother-in-law as well as another couple who joined the group.

Our tour guide Loris met us right at the cruise port and led us on a awesome day of winetasting and sightseeing in the Provence region of France. Our morning was spent wine tasting at 2 separate vineyards each with their own distinctive methods for making wine. It provided a nice contrast and both make delicious wines. We then headed to the town of Aix-en Provence for a delicious lunch recommended by the tour company (They made the reservation for us weeks in advance) After lunch there was time to explore this lovely little town before Loris dropped us back at the port. They even handled the shipping back to the US of wines we purchased from the vineyards. It was an amazing excursion better than anything our ship could have provided.
