Besök småbåtshamnen och ta en kort promenad längs Presto Breakwater, för att besöka vraket av Presto som hamnade på Magnetic Island 1896. Det finns alltid en chans att se några av våra ikoniska Allied Rock Wallabies när de hoppar längs vågbrytaren.

Även om turnén inte täcker hela Forts promenad, erbjuder den en insiktsfull upplevelse av vår ös historia från andra världskriget genom en informativ visning i början av promenaden Gå upp till den första utsiktspunkten (cirka 100 m) för att förundras över de fantastiska panoramavyerna med utsikt över Arthur Bay.
När du går tillsammans med gruppen målar vår guide levande bilder av öns förflutna och nutid, pekar på unika drag i landskapet och delar fängslande berättelser om områdets betydelse. Great experience, wonderful guide, lots of interesting places and things yo see.
The tour was the perfect way to discover the island and all of its incredible wildlife. Tim showed us the most beautiful spots and made sure we experienced the very best the island has to offer. We saw so much wildlife, including turtles, rock wallabies, koalas and the magical butterflies. My daughter and I absolutely loved every moment of it. Thank you, Tim, for an unforgettable day!
Our driver, Tim, was the best. He was very knowledgeable about the Island and could answer any question we had. We stopped many times to learn about the history and take pictures. We fed the rock wallabies and saw wallabies running in the neighborhoods. Tim surprised us by taking us to his private property where he gathered eucalyptus branches that we took back to the animal hospital and fed two of the koalas who are there. We stopped in a small town where we had an hour of free time to eat, shop, or walk the beach. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
Tim was awesome. Accommodating and made the rainy wet season day super enjoyable nonetheless. We had a 4 month old and two sassy teenagers and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great facts and knowledge with a combination of lived experience made for a fun filled tour. Recommend to anyone looking to do Maggie and see all the beaches and hot spots. We even got to meet some Koala and felt very privileged for the up close and personal experience
This was a lovely way to see Magnetic Island and learn lots for when we comeback and do it ourselves next time . Tim was a fabulous host . Thankyou for going out of your way way to pick us up when we were running late … oops . Make sure you catch the ferry over from Townsville to arrive in time lol
Unbelievable experience to be able to enjoy nature and learn about this beautiful island from an knowledgeable and enthusiastic local.
Such a fantastic tour! My friend and I went with Tim around the island. He was super friendly and knew so much about the island and the native wildlife and vegetation. We saw a lot of different places around the island and a lot of native wildlife. We saw sharks, fed Wallaby’s, saw a lot of birds, small reef fish, and of course koalas! Such an amazing tour and tour guide!☺️ Thank you Tim!

Magnetic Island is a beautiful island and Tim is a fantastic guide! He knows (almost) everything about the island and is excited to convey that to others. Too bad we could only stay on this island for one day.

Easy to take the ferry from Townsville to meet the tour. Great to visit the highlights with an Island native, Izzy’s Dad! The best was going to their koala hospital and feed the rescue koalas!
