Följ med på ett oförglömligt kvällsäventyr för att bevittna en av Madeiras mest hisnande solnedgångar från Pico do Arieiros höjder. Vi börjar med att hämta dig från ditt boende i Funchal, Caniço eller Câmara de Lobos (stadscentrum) Sedan fortsätter vi resan till den majestätiska Pico do Arieiro, Madeiras tredje högsta topp. Här kommer du att uppleva en del av den berömda PR1-leden, (självguidad) som går cirka 1,2 km åt vardera hållet (1t30m), vilket leder dig till den otroliga utsiktsplatsen Ninho da Manta och den berömda ”trappan till himlen”. När dagen slutar, förbered dig på att bli förvånad över färgerna på solnedgången måla himlen och bergen i gyllene toner. Efter att ha blötlagt i detta magiska ögonblick i ca 30 minuter, kommer vi bekvämt tillbaka till närmaste punkt i ditt boende. Great views and Luis was excellent at telling us where to walk and local information. Make sure good shoes and a jacket as windy up there
Would highly recommend this tour, we opted for the sunset tour, we were picked up from the hotel, with a little stop off on the way for a glass of poncha, Luís was a great tour guide, and it was nice being in a small group, if you want to do this experience book with Luis, you won’t be disappointed
The PR1 hike was incredible! Luis was an amazing guide, knowledgeable, funny, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the sunset was unforgettable. Highly recommend this hike with Luis if you’re visiting Madeira!
The sunset hike at Pico de Arieiro & the Stairway to Heaven was exhilarating & the views were spectacularly breathtaking! The hike is challenging but so worth it! God’s beautiful creation is something to behold! Our guide, Davide, was very accommodating & ensured everyone was comfortable during transport to the trailhead & the return to our accommodations. He provided guidance before we started our hike, & his knowledge of the terrain was especially valuable. This was one of the best days of my life! You don’t want to miss the hike & the jaw dropping views; it is worth every step!
From start to finish, this tour was so much fun and one of the highlights of our holiday! Our tour guide, Davide, was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable straight away. If you’re nervous about hikes or scared of heights like I am, I’d still recommend booking this tour. You don’t have to do the full hike if you don’t want to. I stayed at the viewpoint while my friend carried on, and we met back there in time to watch the sunset together. I still felt like I’d had the most incredible experience, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The sunset was unforgettable, and the whole trip was really well organised. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira!
Incredible experience and so worth doing. The sunset hike was amazing and not many others around. There wasn’t too much walking and it was easy terrain. The landscape was well worth seeing. The driver/guide Luís was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He invited all questions both on the way to the hike and the trip back. He also provided updates on the weather, sunset time and best places to be when the sunsets.
The tour guide was very friendly and likable! He told us a lot and was able to answer all our questions. The drive there was already very impressive, and the nature was beautiful. Of course, the hiking trail was just as lovely! It was truly breathtaking and incredibly impressive! We highly recommend booking the trip with this organization. 😊

I recommend this activity 1000%, very well organized, the information is clear. They picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off very close to the hiking location.
