Tillsammans med Guiden kommer resenärerna ombord på den officiella bussen från Aguas Calientes till Machu Picchus entrégrind. Bussresan tar cirka 30 minuter.
Vid ankomsten hjälper Guiden resenärerna genom den officiella kontrollpunkten, där entrébiljetter och pass kontrolleras innan de går in i citadellet. Njut av en guidad tur på cirka 2,5 timmar längs Circuit 2 (2A eller 2B), den mest kompletta och ikoniska rutten i Machu Picchu. Under besöket kommer resenärerna att utforska de viktigaste arkeologiska områdena, terrasserna, templen, utsiktsplatserna och panoramafotoplatserna, samtidigt som de lär sig om Inkacitadellets historia, arkitektur och betydelse. Scammed me out of my circuit 2 ticket. It was clear when I arrived and got handed a circuit 2 ticket (fake) and a circuit 1 ticket (real) that something was wrong. Asked if the circuit 2 ticket was fake and got told no. 10 minutes before the bus ride up the guy who gave me the tickets asked to look at the circuit 2 ticket and refused to give it back when I asked. The company realized they got caught trying to fake the ticket. Still ended up being able to do circuit 1 but definitely not what I paid for. Would have just bought my own ticket. Would have saved me $150 because the company basically just booked me a circuit 1 ticket and neglected to tell me until 10 minutes before the bus ride up
Very well coordinated and orchestrated. They ensured that we were on time, where we needed to be in the mist of the tourists and chaos. Great tour, very knowledgeable and what an amazing experience!
My guide never showed up at my hotel! I got the tickets via email so I was able to go to Machu Picchu but I had to hire an independent guide. I was still charged for the guide, even opened up a dispute and was still charged. Worst experience I have ever had with this company, $390 for a ticket with no guide, this was complete crap!!
Meeting Machu Picchu was one of the best experiences I have had today. Much mystery about this civilization that has abandoned this mythical place.
Our tour guide was excellent, professional and knowledgable. He was helpful, engaging and had a passion for his heritage.
While the experience of seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world is spectacular, I must say that the personal experience with the tour operator/guide is not worth the hefty amount they charged me. 360 euros per couple, for an entry to Machu Picchu that costs 80 euros (per couple). I would like them to explain where the remaining 280 euros went, since they did not provide us with bus tickets (we had to buy them a day before), and much less did they provide us with information. If it weren't for us insisting several times for them to explain what to do, we would still be waiting for the information. I should also mention the ticket scalping they have; we supposedly paid for circuit 2, they gave us the official entry for circuit 1 to enter, and once inside they gave us a counterfeit for circuit 2. I won't mention the guide's name out of respect, but the explanations were very vague, simple, and rehearsed the night before
This circuit 2 is definitely the best as it allows you to walk through the majority of the beautiful landscape and ruins. You’ll definitely want a guide with you as they can tell you the history as they point out the artifacts and supplement with their personal books that most seem to carry. The walk itself is very easy, unless you find stairs difficult to walk up and down. Maybe there are a dozen sets throughout the slow and meandering walk. Bring your passport, hat, sunscreen, water and insect repellent.
The agency provided a good advice with guidance on booking trains and buses to Machu Picchu, assistance in buying tickets for circuit 2 on arrival in Aguas Calientes, which takes you to Machu Picchu and a very good tourist guide. One day before the tour there was a downtime and the possibility of not getting a ticket, and it was necessary to postpone the visit for one day, but fortunately they managed to resolve and it all worked out and it was an incredible experience.
I booked a Circuit 2 Machu Picchu ticket through this company only 3 days before my trip, which I honestly didn't think would be possible. I was initially a little hesitant because I had seen a negative review from someone who felt things didn't work out for them, but my experience was completely different. The team was responsive, professional, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. The guide was very informative and provided helpful recommendations for trains, transportation, and logistics, which took a lot of the stress out of planning a last-minute visit. Thanks to their guidance, everything worked out exactly as planned. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially if you're trying to arrange a Machu Picchu visit on short notice.
Great service, one is picked up directly from the train station and accompanied right away. The guide can speak excellent English/Spanish and provides informative information. Overall, the stay was a 10/10.
