Turen börjar med att du hämtas från ditt hotell tidigt på morgonen (ungefär 05:30 till 06:30). Från Cusco reser du till Ollantaytambos tågstation i en och en halv timme i privat bil. Efteråt går du ombord på turisttåget till Machu Picchu (cirka 1,40 minuters resa) där vår transfer med företagets namn väntar på dig.
När du anländer till Aguas Calientes tar du en buss till Machu Picchu, där din guide kommer att dela med dig av all nödvändig information om detta världsunderverk. Turen tar cirka 2 timmar och 30 minuter, tillräckligt med tid för att ta alla nödvändiga foton.
De otroliga och magnifika Inka-byggnaderna, omgivna av den flora och fauna som är typisk för Machu Picchu, låter dig ta fotografier och uppleva en fascinerande upplevelse med guiden på Machu Picchus arkeologiska komplex. The tour was amazing! Miguel was very kind and knowledgeable. He’s the best photographer. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

Visiting Mahu Picchu is a great experience, however, in July is more expensive because many tourists arrive or visit Machu Picchu, I would recommend you to visit it in February because is more affordable. For instance, getting the ticket in order to arrive AGUAS CALIENTES, You can Even bargain, I might be interesting to buy tickets which is 60 dollars and 120 dollars go and return. In addition to this, sometimes, there are some offers if you buy for 2 o 3 people, they reduce the cost. For food, you can choose Alpaca steak, chicken Peruvian grilled and Peruvian wines or Pisco Sour. However, there are some restaurants where the food are cheaper and delicious, those restaurants are near the mountains. Comparing the prices, in February the food might cost 30 soles (less than 11 dollars), but the restaurants that I'm referring cost 12 soles (less than 5 dollars). Those restaurants cook different Peruvian food, not only ceviche or Lomo saltado, there many food that you taste before.
What an amazing day! Miguel is a fantastic guide full of knowledge and we particularly enjoyed his visuals. He was amazing at taking pictures for us. We were collected at 4:30am from our hotel and our tour wasn’t until 2pm. We felt that it was unnecessary to wait 3 hours and 40 minutes at the bottom. This was the only negative to the day and something I would make sure that you question the company about prior to booking. Bring small change if you want to use the toilets before you enter. All the staff were amazing and kind!
This was a great (and tiring) tour. Our guide at Machu Picchu was very informative and went beyond your usual facts. He brought a new perspective and challenged us to think about our trek differently, which I appreciated. He is also an amazing photographer! The transportations to and from were smooth. Only critique is that between legs the meet up point and point of contact changes and it can get confusing as you navigate on your own. So some WhatsApp messages and calls asking “where are you?” Otherwise 10/10 experience and the people
