Liten grupp: Heldagstur till Saona Island

Denna unika upplevelse till Saona Island erbjuder för små grupper på 14 personer. Limited 2 grupper. Vi kommer att besöka platser som inte besöks av massorna, vi kommer att åka med motorbåt till staden Mano Juan, de enda platserna inne på Saona ön med ett lokalt samhälle. Här kommer vi att känna en lokal Ledare som driver sköldpaddsskyddsområdet, vi kommer att ha tid att lära oss om Turtle och hur viktiga de är för planeten. I Mano Juan serverar vi dig en frukost: smörgåsar osttomater & kalkonskinka. Efter Mano Juan Beach kommer vi att besöka Abanico Beach de vackraste och mest kända vita sandstränderna, perfekt strand för att hoppa i vattnet och njuta av Karibiska havet i Dominikanska republiken. Strandstolar och öppen bar. I Abanico Beach kommer vi att njuta av en privat självservering Buffé Lunch med dominikansk mat. Efter lunch åker vi för att se Mangrove och förklara deras roll. Efteråt åker vi till Palmilla Beach och snorklar för att se Star Fish. Avslutar vid Bayahibe Reef med att snorkla efter se fisk.

Abanico Beach, Saona Island. Här stannar vi runt 3 timmar. Äta lunch och njuta av stranden. Reserverade strandstolar, öppen bar ingår, lunchbuffé ingår.
Palmilla Beach Hemligt läge för Se Star Fish, Relax tid, Snorkling tid, Njut av naturens färger i vattnet. Här stannar vi till för att se sjöstjärnor och snorkla och lära oss om sjöstjärnorna i en hemlig miljö. Dags att koppla av och njuta av de naturliga pooler som skapas av Sands Barer tillgängliga av naturen i La Palmilla Beach.
Mano Juan Town, Saona Island. Sköldpaddsskyddsområde. Frukost på Mano Juan, samtal med den lokala Ledaren "Neger" grundare Turtle Conservation Area. 10 - 15 minuters promenad i Mano Juan Town.
Mangroves Protected Area Observation och förklaring om Mangroves betydelse för ekosystemet inne i nationalparken Cotubanama, East Natinal Park.

Ta med baddräkter, handdukar, solkräm, insektsmedel, pengar. Vi tillhandahöll frukost och lunch om du har några livsmedelsrestriktioner eller om du behöver information om den mat vi gav gärna kontakta oss. Vi serverade till frukost smörgåsar med ost och tomater och ost och kalkon skinka med do natural juiced och en fruktsallad. Till lunch med tillhandahålls en buffé med traditionell dominikansk lunch ( ris med grönsaker, potatismossallad, grönsallad, fruktsallad, bröd, pasta i tomater sås marinera med hummer, grillad kyckling, grillade fläskkotletter. Vi gör ett stopp i en bekväm butik 10 minuter före hamnen där du kan köpa något av dina önskemål. Du är fri att ta med dryck eller mat som du föredrar om du behöver det. Loved the speed boat. Crew was very friendly and even snorkelled to try and find sister’s glasses that fell off when a wave hit her. Fantastic info on turtle sanctuary as well as mangrove wildlife. Saw sea turtles in natural habitat as well as star fish and other fishes.
From start to finish this tour was exceptional. Melvin and his crew were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the education of sea turtles, and wildlife conservation efforts. Both breakfast and traditional Dominica lunch was provided!! Drinks were included, and refreshing. Speedboat was the highlight of our trip! We left knowing more about DR, shared laughs, and met amazing people. Absolutely MUST book!
If you’re debating between this small-group tour and one of the larger, cheaper excursions, I highly recommend spending the extra money on this one you won’t regret it! One of the best parts of this experience was the small group size, with a maximum of just 14 people. It made the entire day feel much more relaxing, personal, and enjoyable compared to the crowded boats carrying well over 100 passengers. There was plenty of room to spread out, ask questions, and truly enjoy the beauty of Saona Island without feeling rushed. The tour guides were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, sharing interesting information throughout the day. We even stopped to watch sea turtles swimming in their natural habitat and had the opportunity to get in the water with the famous starfish, which was such a memorable experience. A light breakfast with sandwiches was provided before departure, and while simple, it was fresh and satisfying. We also enjoyed a traditional Dominican buffet lunch on the beach, which was tasty and a nice addition to the day. From beginning to end, everything was well organized and exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a more intimate, relaxing, and high quality Saona Island experience, this is absolutely the tour to book. Highly recommended!
I am so incredibly happy to have ‘done my homework’ and chosen the best tour possible! We did not want to a party but a smaller tour experience and so very happy we chose the right path. This was great from beginning to end. We were picked up by a minivan type vehicle and taken to the speedboat then took off for the island. The ride was fun but hold on to your hats! lol once we arrived we had an even better time in those incredible waters! Lunch was great and plentiful as was breakfast. I would do this again in a heartbeat! We told so many people about this tour already and heard some crazy stories about others on the party versions.

Our Saona Island excursion with Melvin and his crew was absolutely amazing! This was, without a doubt, the best excursion I’ve ever been on. Everything was incredibly well organized, and the experience felt very intimate rather than overcrowded. Melvin is exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the Dominican Republic, and he shared so many interesting facts throughout the day that made the trip even more meaningful. From breakfast and lunch on different beaches, a visit to a turtle sanctuary, the mangroves and the sand dunes, and focus on safety, the experience was A+. The entire crew treated us with first-class service from beginning to end. They were professional, friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had an unforgettable experience. You could truly tell they cared about their guests. The treatment from the entire team that accompanied us has been incredible. The experience was wonderful. Without a doubt, the best guided tour of the Island.
Such a fun and informative experience. Although it’s a very early start, it was a perfect way to have basically private moments at each stop before the party boats and their crowds show up. Nearly each time we were leaving a spot, you could hear the bigger boats arriving. We also really appreciated the tour involving and investing in the local community. We felt like we got to see and do so much on this tour!
Although it's an early AM departure, it was totally worth it! It's a long day, but plenty of time to relax, enjoy the sights and see some amazing marine life. Melvin was a great guide, offered quite a bit of history, and the tour company supports the turtle sancturary, which we loved. Being able to snorkel and see the starfish in the beautiful Caribbean Sea was amazing!
Great experience but you need to check when is good time to sea baby turtles. Fantastic beach and stuff
