Lilla Havanna privat rundtur Mat Konst Musik Museum Cigarrfabrik

Beskrivning

To call this a food tour is very misleading. We stopped at 2 places for food, had a half of a Cuban sandwich a baked good and a tiny shot of espresso. All within the same 3 blocks. We mostly walked around to the hosts friends shops. Some of the history was cool to listen to but by no means was it worth $99 a person. Maybe 20?
We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, which is extremely rare, as we can’t recall anyone else having a negative one. We regret that you or your group had a one-star experience, the worst outcome possible. Our tour is all about celebrating Cuban culture, traditions, art galleries, Cuban fashion, hidden museums, local legends, cafecito windows, rooster alleys, and Cuban artists who’ve escaped the island and found success in the USA, sharing their stories along the way. It’s meant to make you feel at home in Little Havana, meeting locals, and feeling as if you’re in another country within your own. We also serve Cuban pastries, guava, coconut, empanadas, Cuban coffee, and Cuban sandwiches, which we cut in half because they're too big to finish. And honestly, we take great pride in serving more food than most of the foodies out there. We pride ourselves on offering the best Cuban sandwiches in the area as well, never receiving a complaint about quality, only compliments, and we always offer more if anyone wants seconds. We ask multiple times if guests would like more to avoid misunderstandings like this. Our guides are locals who know the business owners personally—We didn't know you'd prefer someone from outside the neighborhood with no deep ties to the community? Other tours may fulfill that request. Sharing Cuban culture, local traditions, and introducing the business owners who built this city is our passion. Even though this is just one bad review among many great ones, it still saddens us to know we fell short, even once. We sincerely apologize and will work harder to ensure a better experience for 100% of attendees. We’d be happy to offer a free tour to any your friends or relatives to see if they have the same reaction and we can make it up to you. Blessings always.
Did not go on the tour. The start of the tour was in a 'sketchy' part of town. Parking was difficult and or expensive. Called the tour guide / organization and told him I needed to cancel. While he said he understood and would do so, I was still fully charged. The amount was just under $200 for two people that included a walking tour and local finger food. This seems quite an excessive amount considering the nature of the tour (i.e. walking and minimal food).
Parking costs five dollars for three hours, which is the rate even for solo visitors to Little Havana. The only negative reviews are from travelers who never experienced the tour. It's disappointing that you decided to cancel just minutes before the tour was due to start. We're saddened by your decision. Little Havana is not a sketchy area; it is a family-friendly neighborhood with a safe, world-famous entertainment district. The overwhelmingly positive reviews for this tour inspire us to keep sharing our Cuban family culture, history, music, food, and more.
My daughter and I took this tour with Angel. It ended up just being the three of us, which was perfect because it allowed it to be very tailored to our interests. Angel is very passionate and his Cuban heritage and sharing that with others. This tour was a perfect blend of food, history and culture. We all enjoyed our time together so much that the tour ended up being almost 4 hours. Not only did we have a great time, but also made a new friend!
Thank you for your 5-Star Review. Its so delightful and joyful to see our effort and work is appreciated. Pardon that The Bay of Pigs was closed for Good Friday. So glad everything else made up for it. See you next time in Miami. You always have a friend here.
Good tour through various parts of the area, great food, and interesting information! We enjoyed it.
Really good walking tour with Angel. Local guy. Seems to know everyone including a lot of the guys from Bay of Pigs. Tons of history and local knowledge. And a fun guy. Great evening!
Educational and interesting. Our guide Angel,a local, is passionate and well versed about his community. He shared his wealth of knowledge of the Cuban community of the past and present, took us to local and tourist sites of interests and answered all of our questions. His enthusiasm and wealth of knowledge made the tour very special.
Big thanks to our guide Angel for showing us the real Little Havana. Angel makes sure to bring you to locally owned stores while walking you through the history of Cuba from the time many Cubans emigrated to the US. It feels like walking through a neighborhood with a friend. Thanks a lot for the great tour, we will be back whenever we visit Miami again! - Lasse from Denmark and Dahye from South Korea
Cubans actually come on our tour to learn about their culture and history as well. They bring their Children so they can learn the history and traditions of their people. We are an authentic tour and it is our passion to share our culture, history, food, music, religion etc. It brings us such joy and pleasure to see you enjoyed the tour and it inspires us to continue our mission for all to experience this tour. Thanks so much. We hope to see you again soon.
I booked this tour and paid for a $30 Uber to get to the tour. We were very disappointed to received an email 6 minutes to the tour started that it was cancelled due to the Christmas Holiday. I’m soooo mad and my kids are very disappointed. Now we are stuck out here!!’
We cannot be held hostage under the threat of a bad review. Your review does not reflect the quality of the tour itself. You reserved it for December 21, 11am. Booking Reference 1 child, 3 adults BR-******6149 and the tour guide waited for you for 30 minutes. Emails and phone calls were sent but no response. We would like to stress to future travelers to read our 5-star reviews by those who have actually participated in the experience. You can reserve the popular tours that are heavily promoted by the online travel agencies but will never get the quality and authenticity of a real Little Havana Native guide, born and raised in Miami with strong ties and deep roots in the Cuban Community. It's not just a Culinary Experience it's a grassroots movement to promote authenticity, history, and Cuban Culture. We will honor any reservation for future available dates if one was not able to attend the original reservation. It truly saddens us when someone misses out and will work together with those parties to make sure they can attend.
Angel was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. The tour of Little Havana was a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to everyone.
Traveled to Miami on September 20 ... we arrived earlier so I booked this tour. We Ubered to Little Havana at 3:30pm for a 4pm tour. We waited at the bakery, as instructed. The owner of the bakery confirmed we were at the right place. At 4:10pm, no tour guide had arrived so we contacted Viator. We communicated the issue, and they tried to reach the merchant. Viator responded at 4:20pm they were unable to reach the merchant. We were told we would be issued a refund, but as of September 26, they have not issued the refund. We would have loved to do this tour, but buyer beware. I can imagine a Wednesday at 4pm would not be popular (as no other individuals were waiting), so if I had any recommendations, it would be to do at a more popular time with more individuals.
Thank you for your input. We will further investigate the incident. We will reach out to your third party online reservation agent for full understanding.
