Upptäck en av Madeiras mest autentiska vandringar sent på eftermiddagen i en liten privat grupp (1 till 4 personer), borta från folkmassorna och i total kontakt med naturen. Längs vägen vandrar vi längs de historiska Levadas do Moinho och Levada Nova, där du får möjlighet att beundra det vackra vattenfallet Levada Nova och korsa en tunnel uthuggen i berget, ursprungligen byggd för att transportera vatten. Under upplevelsen kommer jag att dela med mig av berättelser och intressanta fakta om dessa bevattningskanaler, den endemiska floran, de omgivande dalarna och landskapen, samt de jordbruksterrasser som har format denna region i århundraden. Vandringen avslutas vid den charmiga piren i Ponta do Sol, med möjlighet att äta middag i solnedgången i en helt enkelt oförglömlig miljö. Great experience Our guide Paulo was expert in all things flora and lives in the area near the levada so knows the trails well Exceptional walk up to the waterfall and breath takings views Would recommend going in the afternoon as it is more peaceful The pace was steady but not rushed plenty of stops to take in the views and flora. The levado is amazing piece of engineering
Paulo was the best tour guide for this hike. He took his time and went over the history, all the different plants, birds and even talked about local recommendations for food and drinks. He made this hike well worth it. My wife and I were in awe of the views and we felt safe and secure with him being our guide. Paulo is someone we will definitely hike with and book with again for sure. If you want someone who knows what they are doing then he is your guy! He made this trip perfect
First hike of our holiday and it didn’t disappoint, it was the most incredible hike with unreal views and the best private tour guide! Paulo gave us lots of information every step of the way, told us where the best spots were for the best pictures! He went all out and gave us the best experience!

Paulo is an excellent guide! I felt like I was hiking with a friend. I always felt safe and I never felt rushed through the hiking. Paulo knows which hikes to do at the best times. If I ever return to Madeira, then I will try to schedule more hiking with him.

The hike was amazing! Really get to see the farms on the mountain sides and how they use the levada system. Richard was an excellent guide and made the whole experience comfortable. Before the hike we stopped at a small local coffee spot. After the hike we had a picnic at the beach with a good selection of Portuguese food i hadn't tried before. Richard was kind enough to take me to the angels water fall as a bonus. We ended the tour with stopping at a poncha spot in the mountains and it was the best poncha i had in madeira!
