Upptäck det magiska underlandet av sjön Myvatn och Godafoss vattenfall med en erfaren lokal reseguide. Vi begav oss från Husaviks hamn och stannade vid det fantastiska Godafoss-vattenfallet och sedan in på det berömda Lake Myvatn-området. i Lake Myvatn-området besöker vi Dimmuborgir Lava-formationerna och Námafjall-området där du kan se de bubblande Hverir Mud-poolerna och naturliga ångventiler eller fumaroler. Vi stannar också vid Myvatn Nature Baths där du kan njuta av baden (om tiden tillåter) och kaféet (Observera att entréavgiften till Nature Baths INTE ingår). Passagerare kan också välja att hoppa över Naturbadet och istället besöka Grjotagja-grottan och rift. Denna prisvärda turné inkluderar en liten grupptur med en erfaren lokal reseguide och transport. Vi erbjuder gratis hämtning och avlämning till Husaviks hamn.

Vi besöker det fantastiska Godafoss vattenfallet, "Guds vattenfall" på väg från Akureyri till Myvatnsjön
Vi besöker de viktigaste platserna i Myvatn, inklusive Námaskarð, där du kan se de bubblande Hverir-lera poolerna och naturliga ångventilerna (Fumaroles), Dimmuborgir Lava-formationerna och Myvatn Nature Baths (var vänlig notera att entréavgiften till naturbadet ingår ej) . För dem som inte vill använda Nature Baths kan vi ta dig till Grotcaja grotta och rift medan andra använder Nature Baths.
Vi stannar till vid Naturbaden för att njuta av baden (om tiden tillåter) och kaféet. (Observera att entréavgiften till Naturbaden INTE ingår och MÅSTE bokas i förväg. Vi rekommenderar att du bokar biljetterna 3 timmar efter turnéns start
Vi slutar på Námaskarðområdet där du kan se de bubblande Hverir Mud poolerna och krukorna och de Naturliga ångventilerna (fumaroler)

Interesting variety of sights on this trip - amazing waterfalls, huge lake, volcanic sulphur flats, and hike through lava formations. Our guide, Amann, was wonderful, with lots of information sprinkled with humor.
A beautiful tour with knowledgeable tour guide. You get to see several different landscapes including snow capped mountains to bubbling mud pools. The waterfall was beautiful and there was enough time to take pictures. The geothermal pool/lagoon was a wonderful end of the tour.
Our ship was late coming into port so our tour was a bit rushed. It was a very fast paced tour and the ships delay made it even more so. We decided to skip the visit to the hot springs as there was not really enough time to enjoy it. So we opted for the tectonic plates and cave instead which was really something spectacular to see.
Great trip. Got to see so many diverse things. Loved the geo thermal fields. Small bus so driver delivered lots of good information.
Guide was easy to find at the port; he was knowledgeable and professional and had a great sense of humor. Engaging personality.
Norbert was very informative and a great guide. The day was miserable with rain and high wind so time at each sight was limited by that. The driving time between sights was sometimes 45-60 minutes and that would have been helpful to know before booking. Most importantly, the original excursion was booked to be from Húsavík but the cruise ship was not able to dock there due to high wind and seas so we diverted over to Akureyri and Imagine Travel switched everything over to the new port seamlessly. That was a big thing for us and we were very grateful that they made it so easy for us.
The falls was dramatic, and the scenery beautiful. The guide was courteous and knowledgeable. They van was clean and modern.
A great trip in which we saw the different landscapes of Iceland. We had a very knowledgeable Guide with a lot of sense of humor and we could ask him anything. We went in a small bus, so everyone could get on and off quickly. Because we came from a cruise ship and therefore had to be back on time, the program was taken into account, without having to miss anything. In short, a very successful and informative trip!
