På Kyoto Sumo Club kan du njuta av sumohistoria och kultur med en äkta sumo-stil måltid och Allt-du-kan-äta & Allt-du-kan-dricka. I början kan du njuta av en traditionell Japansk dans som utförs av geisha i elegant kimono och som sätter tonen innan sumoshowen börjar. Föreställningen börjar med en traditionell geishadans, följt av livedemonstrationer av övningar, tekniker och sumoetikett. Titta sedan på en bäst av tre-match mellan pensionerade sumobrottare. Du kan också kliva in i ringen och utmana en brottare ”Utmanarplatserna är begränsade; om det är för många sökande kommer deltagarna att väljas genom lottning ”Detta är en rolig, familjevänlig show, inte en riktig träningssession eller turnering Alla gäster får en souvenir presentpåse som en minnessak av deras sumo upplevelse. Varje plats erbjuder en intim utsikt över sumoringen.

"Dec. 03 2025 Nytt ÖPPET!!!" Den mycket populära Asakusa Sumo Club i Tokyos Asakusa-distrikt öppnar sin första sumoshowrestaurang i hjärtat av Kyoto!!!! Fördjupa dig i sumobrottningens värld på Kyoto Sumo Club. Börja med en traditionell Japansk dans framförd av en geisha i en elegant kimono, som sätter tonen för sumoshowen. Titta på livedemonstrationer av morgonövningar, lär dig klassiska sumotekniker och upptäck sumobrottningens viktiga saker att göra och inte göra. Njut sedan av en bäst-av-tre-match mellan pensionerade professionella sumobrottare. Kliv in i ringen och utmana en av sumobrottarna. Utmanarplatserna är begränsade per föreställning. Om det är för många sökande kommer deltagarna att väljas ut genom lottning. Njut av en allt-du-kan-äta måltid med Chanko-nabe (kyckling varm gryta), en traditionell sumo-stil maträtt. It was so fun and over met our expectations! The dance ladies were beautiful and the sumo wrestlers did great demonstrations. Our 17 years daughter decided to challenge one of the wrestlers and she “won”! 😂😂😂. Highly recommend this show.
A true highlight of our Japan trip! They were all so much fun and my wrestler 17 year old son a got to wrestle one of these fun and awesome Sumo wrestlers! I would recommend this experience to all families!!!

Genuinely can not recommend this enough. 2 performances (technically 3) and unlimited food and drinks (alcohol included) for $100 is a steal. Everyone was so welcoming and fun. I didn't encounter a bad experience with anything. Remember, as the audience it is as fun as you will make it. Cheer loud and proud. They deserve it all <3. Much love from USA!! Everyone's rave reviews are spot on, great value, you literally get all you can eat of enjoyable food and drink. You also get a gift bag with several items, and I was amazed that they did not require us to pay for the picture at the end with the Super Bowl wrestlers and the geisha. Can't miss on this one!

This was easily my highlight of my trip. Good was good but the entertainment was excellent. The wrestlers were very funny and engaging. I strongly recommend this experience in Kyoto.
