Delta i en grupptur för att avslöja den speciella religiösa betydelsen och den naturliga skönheten i Phnom Kulen Mountain, Kambodjas mest heliga berg, som ligger 50 km norr om Siem Reap. Lär dig varför webbplatsen tjänar som en pilgrimsfärdsplats till både hinduer och buddhister genom att besöka templet i Reclining Buddha ovanpå den stora berget, 1000-talets flod och de fantastiska Phnom Kulen-vattenfallen.

Turen avgår klockan 8:30 och guiden hämtar upp från 7:30 till 8:30 från din hotellobby och går sedan norrut mot Kulen Mountain genom cirka 2 timmars bilresa i ett luftkonditionerat fordon. Njut av den natursköna resan längs vägen när du passerar genom lokala byar och grönskande tropisk skog. Du kommer att besöka Kambodjas största liggande Buddha huggen på sandsten. Templet ligger på toppen av kullen och kan nås via en trappa. Därefter beger du dig till den heliga floden 1000 Lingas. Flodbädden är intressant uthuggen med många Lingas, en fallisk symbol för den hinduiska guden Shiva. Du kommer också att se några hällristningar längs floden som visar hinduiska gudar. Du kommer att fortsätta genom en annan helig plats, Phnom Kulen vattenfall. Lugna dina sinnen genom att se vattenfallet falla nerför klipporna. Du kommer att ha tid att vada i dess bassäng och välja att svalka dig från middagssolen genom att simma i poolen.

We had an amazing trip to Kulen Mountain and Waterfall with Chenda and Lis. Chenda is a master of his domain when it coes to Khmer history. He was always ready with answers to our curiosity. When we reached the 1000 lingas Chenda drew a map in the dirt showing how the river how it flows into Siem Reap and its temples, along with the time periods of the temples. That presentation in the dirt was a master class it was like a powerpoint presentation with just dirt and sticks and impeccable details all drawn under a shaded tree. Lis was courteous and helpful during the trip together they made a memorable memory for us
We enjoyed seeing the Buddha, but the waterfalls was a lot of extra walking in high heat and that was not clear on the activity details.

Pickup on time. Very nice van for our group. Driver provided cold scented towels and icy cold water to keep us comfortable. Vireak is an excellent communicator in English and very knowledgeable about a wide range of Cambodian history and current affairs. He was also very solicitous of the safety and comfort of our group. It was a wonderful experience watching the cascading water. The final aspect of the cascading fall has to be approached climbing about 150 odd steps-wooden after some amount of walking. However, the effort fully justifies the scenery. Nearer to the vehicle parking area is the 1000 Shiva lingas embedded in the Kabal Spean river bed. The lingas were installed in the river bed to sanctify the water.
The trip was wonderful, our guides San and Mom took great care of us and shared many interesting stories. We saw and experienced a lot. The excursion was very successful. Thank you, Ingrida.

Our trip with guide San and driver Mom was amazing! Every step was smooth, full of respect and sincerity. Guide San is very intelligent and full ir knowledges. He knows the history, nature and culture of the country very well. He is a great speaker - a true professional.
