We were able to see a lot of Ponta Delgada I just a few hours, Bruno went above and beyond to make of this a frat tour, very knowledgeable and great sense of humor.
Wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Bruno, was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the areas and quite entertaining! We saw some incredible sites. I would recommend choosing one specific ‘area’ focus. Otherwise lots of driving time. No fault of their part.
Interesting but not what I expected. Could have seen a as everything a little faster. Also long time to tour with no options for food or drinks.
It was memorable and amazing trip. Our tour guy Mr. John is very knowledgeable and responsible. I giving him a a thumbs up 👍!
A wonderful 5-6 hour tour with expert commentary by “John”. We were able to break away from the group for 45 minutes to soak in the hot, medicinal thermal baths. Incredible views. Excellent first time visit.

This great tour covered the key places to see on Sao Miguel, taking us to 5 or so main tourist attractions. All along from and to Ponta Delgada, we enjoyed beautiful scenery on the chosen route. The driver who functioned as the tour leader was very cordial and helpful. He provided us with historical information, factual information, and contextual information relative to the other islands, the Portuguese mainland, and the Azores's role yesterday and today. We also got pieces of fun information as we went along and he answered our many questions. I felt this was an excellent overview of Ponta Delgada and Sao Miguel.
Don't book this when you are on a cruise. Even though it indicates for cruise travelers. Our cruise did not stop at this port and the port was aware so the excursion did not take place. We had 11 people planned for this and they will not issue a refund
Dear Linda, We are truly sorry that, despite your captain informing you of the port call cancellation 4 days in advance, you did not cancel your tour like the other bookings from your ship did ahead of time. We would like to clarify that our refund policy for cruise cancellations is clear: refund requests must be submitted within 7 days after the tour date, in cases of missed port calls. Unfortunately, your request was made 15 days after the scheduled activity, which placed it outside the allowable refund window due to accounting and tax regulations that all local operators must follow. It is also important to note that all other passengers for this tour canceled free 4 days in advance, and you were the only one who did not cancel on time. This contributed to the logistical and financial planning for the tour. Even so, and as a gesture of goodwill, we exceptionally issued a partial refund of 25% despite the request being past the permitted timeframe.
Beautiful island but we started wrong. We got checked out told go wait and then they left and five of us were left out at the port. Thankfully another tour guide from another company helped us. First stop at Sete Cidades we got about 10 minutes to appreciate the place. At the Tea Plantation not even a demonstration about tea plant, different teas or to try the varieties besides one tea and self-served 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I didn't continue to the pineapple Plantation and stop by the town main square to enjoy the rest of my day before returning go the cruise. Gor $99 it was disappointing, no offer go ho to the thermal waters
Thank you for your review, it is very important to us. We always ask people to stay where we indicate after check-in, in your case you moved away from the group and the first group left. Also, no other company helped you, it was our guide from the second group who came back to pick you up. As for the tea, the tea tasting is subject to what the factory has available, and as it is a limited production, we cannot demand too much. I hope you can give us another chance and discover the wonders of this island.
Very nice tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the town. The tour guide wanted to make sure the participants had an enjoyable experience.
