Denna socken som ligger på norra kusten av ön São Miguel är där vi börjar och avslutar turen. Efter att ha börjat vår turné på asfalterade vägar kommer vi att åka längs havet och utforska grusvägar i detta område.
Detta är ett berg med en höjd av 845 meter. Den hisnande utsikten är mycket lik "Miradouro da Boca do Inferno" men från ett högre perspektiv (tillgänglig med fyrhjulingar) och ännu mer magnifik på grund av sin höjd. Härifrån kan du se Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul och utsikt över hela kratern av den vilande vulkanen Sete Cidades. Om vädret är bra är detta ett av turnéns höjdpunkter, där vi kan se nästan hela ön från toppen.
Denna utsiktspunkt ligger på en höjd av 540 meter och erbjuder en unik panoramautsikt över kratern Sete Cidades. Beroende på väder och grusvägsförhållanden kan vi få se samma utsikt från ett annat perspektiv "Miradouro das Cumeeiras", där vi kan ha en fantastisk utsikt över den gröna och blå sjön men från motsatt sida av kratern.
Här kan du förvänta dig att göra några grusstigar som omger Blå lagunen i Sete Cidades med otrolig utsikt över sjöarna.
Passerar på en grusväg runt Detta är en församling som ligger på norra kusten av ön São Miguel. Detta är en av transitbyarna som vi passerar på vägen tillbaka till mötesplatsen. Här passerar vi Poços (badplats) och platsen för den gamla valfabriken, inaktiverad sedan 1970 där bara fabrikens skorsten finns kvar. Här kommer vi också att göra en grusstig som förbinder denna socken med Fenais da Luz. Lagoa Azul.
Här kommer vi tillbaka till där vi började och utforskar några grusvägar vid havet.

Such a great time! Beautiful scenery. Machines seem to be in good shape. Guide was great! Only thing I would say.... Is better/bigger signage needed at the meeting spot. Otherwise... Bang on!
Great fun and a beautiful day! The entire trip was about four hours, including the drive up to the volcano and around the rim. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and our guide was fantastic—very knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. We were especially fortunate to have perfect weather. No rain, and I was even able to wear shorts! We also stopped in the charming town of Sete Cidades for a restroom break and to pick up a drink if needed. I would definitely recommend bringing plenty of water with you. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great way to see the area. Take lots of photos—you’ll want to remember the views!

The views were incredible and the buggy’s were enjoyable to ride and drive. Although , throughout the journey two of the quad bikes broke causing others to have to double up and not be able to drive. Overall it was an amazing experience and the scenery was the best we had seen all trip. It was a great way to explore the island
We had such a brilliant time doing this tour with our two children (ages 7 and 11 today). The route was great, taking us off the beaten track. The views we saw were magnificent and going off road like we did in the buggy felt like such an adventure. Our boys loved it and so did we. The guide was friendly and kept us safe all around. Highly recommend.
Beautiful excursion of just over 3 hours on board well-maintained ATV vehicles. You travel about 50 km between asphalt and dirt roads and reach wonderful panoramic points. We went as 4 with our 9 and 12-year-old daughters and apart from the dust, we had a lot of fun. I recommend you enter the exact address with the street number of the meeting point into the GPS since it is located inside a normal house. Highly recommended 👍🏻
Such a Fun way to see the island. I booked this from the wonderful TripAdvisor reviews and it did not disappoint. I was a little nervous the terrain would be rough but even though some parts were a bumpy it was completely fine, and fun! 100% recommend. My one piece of advice no matter how warm it is when you start out bring a sweatshirt! It was warm when we left but when we got to the top of the mountain it was at least 20 degrees cooler and I was freezing. Book, go, enjoy all the beautiful scenery the tour has to offer!
Had a great time on this tour. Gorgeous views up close and personal with Sete Cidades. Plenty of opportunities to switch drivers if multiple people in one vehicle are of age. The only thing I would do differently is book a taxi back to my hotel as I did not have a rental ahead of time. The owners / tour guides were kind enough to call a taxi service for us, as service on my phone was non-existent at the meeting point.
Wow! What a fun experience and great way to see remote parts of the island as well as drive through the small towns. The guides were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I would totally do it again.
An incredible route. And the two guides who accompanied us were super good; they were with us at all times in case we needed to know anything. Despite the fog that was there, which didn't let us enjoy the experience 100%, I recommend everyone book it. 10 out of 10.
