Låt oss upptäcka Istanbul och besöka murarna i staden, från ena sidan till den andra sidan och lära sig om historia, kultur och religion i Romerska riket, Bysantinska riket, Osmanska riket. Utforska staden från Marmara havet till Golden Horn floden. Upplev historien om murar, torn, palats från 2000 år fram till dagens Turkiet. Vi kommer att besöka Yedikule fängelsehålorna, portarna till Konstantinopel, stadens försvarsmurar och palatset Roman Blachernea. Vi kommer att besöka Golden Gate, Osmanska fästningen, portarna till Constantinopel, och Blachernea område. Palace besök är valfritt.

Vi börjar vår turné med att du hämtar dig från ditt hotell och besöker Yedikule-fästningen, fängelsehålor, Theodisias gyllene port. Vi kommer att besöka murtornen och se stadens portar.
Vi kommer att upptäcka istanbuls murar och lära oss om murarnas historia, av Rom, bysantinska och osmanska. Vi kommer att köra ena sidan från Marmara havet till andra sidan Golden horn floden av murarna.
Vårt nästa stopp och Blachernea-palatset som är det palats som byggdes av det romerska imperiet och det enda palatset vi kan se idag. I slutet av turnén släpper vi dig tillbaka till dina hotell.

It was a great tour that took into account our interests. Emre was helpful, friendly, and very informative.
The walls are fantastic as an important part of history and you see many aspects of them. However we had a very disturbing event happened. When we were at the museum, another guide came up and said our guide was not an actual guide and was there illegally with us. This other guide told us he had called the police and that our lives were in danger. The two men argued and we did not know what to do. We never felt in danger with him so we decided to stay with him. The same guide argued with him again at the exit and followed us to the van and took pictures of the van plate. It was all very disturbing and shook our confidence in Viator. It ruined the day for us. I hope this can be straightened out so others do not have the same occurrence.
Have hiking shoes and camera to take pictures. There a 3 sites, and 2 require going up steps which maybe uneven so be careful. Much more content and history than I expected.
Emre was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the walls from Roman through Ottoman times. He was great at communicating and very flexible. I couldn’t leave without seeing the famous Walls of Old Constantinople and I wasn’t disappointed.
The tour was lackluster. The information was basic. The guide was nice but had little to work with what we saw.
As it is national holiday from 6 june, museums were closed for 3 days in Turkey. That is why we informed you about the program change days before
