Superlative Hospitality

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the boat. We were able to see a variety of marine life, including doll porpoises, humpback whales, sea otters, seals, and sea lions. The crew was incredibly hospitable, helpful, and kind. They even prepared a delicious vegetarian meal, including an amazing veggie burger and hummus. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience.

More information on booking would have been helpful

The booking information needs to be more clear. My party and I were never told that we needed to arrive to the boat at 10:30 because our departure was at 11:30. We arrived at 11:15 and we were told by the front desk staff to "Run," because we were late. Meanwhile one member of our party is disabled and cannot run. I told one of the front desk staff this information and they said that was not on our booking information, and then they told my disabled friend to "Run." The front desk staff were so inconsiderate and rude to my party and my disabled friend. The person who scanned our tickets was also incredibly rude to us. I wish from the booking site it told us more information about the choppiness of the water because there was a 45 minute segment of water that would cause the a lot of people to become violently ill due to sea sickness. We were on the second deck and nearly every single passenger was throwing up. Gavin was an absolute angel sent from heaven above and was incredibly helpful. He was the kindest employee on the tour. If you are sea sick, get a Scoplamine patch and Dramamine.

Exciting and educational. Great captain and caring boat crew.

Captain Kailey was great to explain what we were seeing. We saw puffins, sea lions, sea otters, seals, a school of jellyfish. And, most important, humpback whales. We saw a pod of 4 adult humpbacks swarming around a school of fish. The captain kept the legal distance from the humpbacks. But, one humpback unexpectedly breached within 20 foot of our boat. We later saw a humpback and baby. Captain Kailey educated us that a baby humpback gains 50 lbs and 1 foot growth every day. The boat supplies binoculars. We got to area where there were 4 waterfalls. The captain pulled the front of the boat under a waterfall. About 10 of us got under the waterfall. Was a blast. When the boat got to the glacier, the boat crew fished one of the floating ice blocks out of the sea. The crew took all the pictures we wanted with the ice block. Then, the crew broke up the block and made glacier ice margaritas for those who wanted them. Was a fantastic, educational experience.

Awesome crew! Fantastic experience

What an amazing crew!! Captain Laura was a wonderful narrator and Captain of the ship! The crew that we saw down on the first level with us were truly heroes for so many!! The seas were rough, and many people were feeling it! The crew kept walking around making sure everyone was ok. There were quite a few guests getting sick and the crew was there helping them thru it. Lunch was really good. Sandwiches had a huge amount of meat in them. We were able to choose turkey or roast beef a few weeks before the trip. Soda and chips came with the meal. Heading back they gave us brownies too!! Coffee, tea, and water were available free of charge during the whole excursion. It was really cool getting up close to the glacier! Great pictures. We saw some seals, otters, a bear, and a couple of pods of hump back whales. All the wild life was far away. They had binoculars on board for each party. You are sitting with other people, you are assigned a table when you are getting on the ship. Take some seasickness medicine before getting on the ship!!! It is rough waters
