På denna utflykt kommer du att utforska några av de vackraste platserna på Kauai; Waimea Canyon och Kokee State Park på djupet. Dessutom besöker du USA:s största kaffeplantage för att prova de färskaste bönorna. Från kanjoner till grönskande havsklippor kommer du att förundras över naturens skönhet och kraft. Du kommer att ta ett steg tillbaka i tiden för att besöka charmiga städer som Waimea och Hanapepe, och prova utsökt mat gjord på lokala råvaror längs vägen. Magnifik berättelser kommer att delas men viktigast av allt kommer vi att få dig att skratta och njuta av dagen. Låt oss visa dig Kauai från lokala ögon.

Vi kommer att besöka den största fruktträdgården av kaffeodlare och rosterier i USA. Prova cirka 5 sorter gratis. Promenera genom en del av fruktträdgården på en självguidad tur och lär dig alla stadier av kaffeodling från frö till kopp. Gör lite shopping för Kauai-odlade kaffebönor och lokala souvenirer. Gillar du inte kaffe? Njut av en kall dryck eller glass i deras snacksbutik.
Vi kommer att söta din dag med ett kort stopp på Aloha Sweet Delights Bakery där du kan köpa lokalt och hemgjorda godsaker som våra berömda malasadas och manju.
I staden Waimea, Kauai, gör vi ett kort stopp där den första västerländska upptäcktsresanden, kapten James Cook, landade på öarna. Vi kommer att dela de otroliga berättelserna om hans resa och hans död.
Waimea Canyon State Park är en av Kauais naturliga underverk, känd som mini Grand Canyon i Stilla havet. Förundras över denna geologiska pärla från olika utkiksplatser när vi stiger upp på berget till ca 3800' i höjd. Vi kommer att få ut ur skåpbilen på olika platser för fantastiska bild ops. Canyons huvudutkik är stängd för restaurering fram till december 2025. Vänligen vet Canyon är ca 15 miles lång och 2 miles bred, därför kan du fortfarande njuta av fenomenal utsikt från många platser när du går upp Canyon vägen. Majestätisk skönhet när den är som bäst!
I Koke'e State Park kommer vi att njuta av en fritidslunch på Koke'e Lodge Restaurant. Deras mat och dryck är lokalproducerad, hemlagad och utsökt (ingår ej i turnéns pris). Du får 10 % rabatt på din måltid och i deras butik. Efter lunch kommer du att ha ledig tid att utforska Koke'e museum för naturkulturhistoria, ta en promenad genom det vackra gräsbevuxna fältet omgivet av Sugi och Redwood tallar, gå på en kort och lätt naturvandring för att lära dig om den inhemska floran och /eller mata kycklingarna.
Kalalau, känd som upplysningens dal, är den största och vackraste på den berömda Na Pali-kusten. Även om utsikten inte är garanterad, kommer vi att göra vårt bästa för att du ska förundras över detta naturliga underverk.
Sist på vår agenda är ett besök i den gamla historiska och charmiga staden Hanapepe, där du kan stödja små lokalt ägda företag, shoppa lite Hawaii-MADE souvenirer och konst, svalka dig med en utsökt lokalt tillverkad fruktis, besöka den berömda Talk Story Bookstore för några sällsynta och antika böcker, och gå över den svängbara bron byggd 1912, om du vågar!

Låt oss veta via sms eller e-post var du kommer att bo på ön. Vi hämtar resenärer på alla hotell och fastigheter på östra och södra sidan av ön, vid kryssningshamnen och flygplatsen. Gäster som bor på norra stranden möter oss i Kapaa stad på en plats TBA innan dagen för din tur.

Shasta did a fantastic job on our tour. She was a joy to spend the day with and is an expert photographer! We learned so many facts and enjoyed all the beautiful views. Oh. My. Gosh! Cannot thank Coco enough for the wonderful experience she gave us on this tour! Mahalo! It was a pleasure to spend the day in her company, we could've done nothing but hang out with her and we would've had a great time. She was so personable and kind and a lot of fun. We loved getting to see the Waimea Canyon; it's majestic and has so many variations in vegetation and formation and coloration that anywhere you look is a unique scene. My 'in-laws' were particularly pleased with it's splendor in comparison to the Grand Canyon, which they enjoy. Coco took us to all of the lookout spots and, bonus, was a decent photographer with all the right placements of person to vista ratio. We also got to visit a bakery specializing in Malasadas (yes, yes, a thousand times yes!), the Kauai Coffee Company (freeeee samples!), the Koke'e Lodge (unctuously savory farm to table Hawaiian staples), & Koke'e State Park (although this particular tour did not have time for trails / views of Kalalau Valley) and Hanapepe, the little historic town featured in Lilo and Stitch with lots of great little local artisan shops. Coco shared interesting historical and cultural information along the way and was always encouraging us to ask questions. My partner was very interested in a geological book that she had, he even bought the last copy (it's out of print now) at the Koke'e Gift Shop. She gave us great recommendations for what else to try before we left (Wailua Shave Ice) and what to do on our last day between hotel check out and rental car return (Kilohana Plantation). We just loved Coco so much! <3 I named my super kawaii pineapple travel pillow souvenir 'Coco-chan' :3 Oh yeah, Coco's daughter, Shasta, is also a guide and we kept seeing her at different stops; I would 100% recommend her expertise as well. Ohana, yo!

Signed up for small group but because of low sign up adjusted to semi private tour for 4 people. Shasta was our host and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about island. Picked up and returned us up to our resort so no driving which was great. Gave us plenty of time at each stop and recommendations of what to look for, what to eat and where to shop. Always felt safe with her driving and use of head set made it easy to hear while driving. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was an engaging and stunning introduction to Kaua'i. We knew little to nothing about the island when we arrived and wouldn't have had the slightest idea where to drive and explore had we just gone out on our own. The tour taught us so much about the island, which greatly improved our experience for the rest of our visit. It was an incredible way to see many of the island's highlights from the best possible vantage points, while also enjoying an authentic experience of the culture of the island. Crucially, the company reached out to us a couple of days prior to the tour to alert us to issues with underbooking, and provided a range of options of how to still enjoy the tour while adjusting for the circumstances. The personal communication, friendliness and commitment to providing an excellent experience are second to none. Almost immediately, it felt like having a local friend show you their favorite spots on the island, rather than being an impersonal and overly rehearsed tour. We didn't know it upon booking, but the family-owned nature of the company really showed through over the course of the tour, which added to the authenticity and personal feel of the tour. That said, it was still a professional, clean and safe tour. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting the island, regardless of age or party size. If you are lucky enough to have Shasta as your tour guide, I can 100% promise you're in for an excellent experience.
