Upplev ditt livs spänning med vår dörröppna helikoptertur över hisnande Kauai. På detta spännande äventyr kommer du att känna vinden i håret och få fri utsikt från vår specialdesignade helikopter med dörrarna borttagna och pilotkontroller på vänster sida. Våra kunniga och skickliga piloter Guider dig genom öns ikoniska landmärken och delar insiktsfulla kommentarer längs vägen. Säkerhet är vår högsta prioritet och våra helikopterturer utanför dörrarna följer högsta industristandard. Vi flyger en hel 60 - 65 minuters tur. Du vill inte nöja dig med mindre än 60 minuter, eftersom det gör att våra piloter kan ta sin tid vid varje utsiktspunkt och rotera helikoptern så att alla passagerare har en fantastisk utsikt oavsett sittplatsarrangemang. Incheckningstiden för turen är 45 minuter före turen. Efter att ha checkat in på vårt kontor och verifierat vikter kommer du att få en grundlig säkerhetsgenomgång. Du transporteras sedan till vår hangar där du går ombord på flygplanet och träffar din pilot.
Efter att du har lyft kommer dina första natursköna landmärken att vara Nawiliwili Harbor och den historiska Menehune Fishpond. Det här är ett bra tillfälle att testa tvåvägskommunikationen och chatta med din pilot och presentera dig själv.
Efter att ha svävat över trädtunneln i Poipu kommer du att ta dig in i landet och lämna alla tecken på civilisation bakom dig. Du kommer att ta dig uppför Hanapepe Valley mot Manawaiopuna Falls, som blev känd i öppningsscenen av Jurassic Park.
Du kommer att börja få en smak av Kauais unika geografi när du flyger över Olokele Canyon.

Få en utsikt över den vackra Ke'e-stranden, eller som lokalbefolkningen kallar den "the end of the road". Detta är starten på Na Pali Coast Trail. Det är också där din pilot kommer att vända helikoptern så att alla ombord kan få en sista utsikt över Na Pali-kusten.
Få ett otroligt perspektiv av Tunnels Reef från luften. Du kommer att inse varför det här revet är något av världens bästa snorklings-/scubadykning.
När du flyger nerför kusten av Kauai norra kust kommer du att se många stränder inklusive populära Hanalei Bay. Du kommer att flyga upp mot de fantastiska bergen ovanför den sömniga lilla staden som ofta har många vattenfall, speciellt efter lite regn.
Efter att ha lämnat North Shore kommer du att flyga mot mitten av ön till Mt Waialeale, Kauai's vilande sköldvulkan. Den episka kratern är känd som den gråtande muren tack vare dess många vattenfall. Kratern ser mer än 450 tum nederbörd om året, vilket gör den till en av de blötaste platserna på jorden.

Great time. Pilot was a local and gave us lots of details about the sights and history of Kauai. The ground crew was friendly and all had a strong focus on safety. I have flown before but never with doors off. It was exciting and scary at the same time. I was strapped in tight, but being a small aircraft, there is a lot of movement and being in an edge seat at 4500 ft with no doors played with my mind. Loved checking the “Doors Off” experience off on my bucket list, but my next flight will be “Doors On”. Over all, the views and 60 min flight cannot compare with anything else. This will remain a high point of my trip.
The pilot was professional, friendly, and did a great job flying the helicopter. The flight itself was smooth and enjoyable, and I appreciated the opportunity to see Kauai from the air. My biggest disappointment was the seating arrangement. I was seated behind the pilot as the only passenger on the left side, and it felt like the majority of the tour was oriented toward the passengers on the right with the flight direction mainly going clockwise around Kauai. During many of the scenic passes, I had only a brief moment to see the major landmarks before they disappeared from view. For much of the flight, I found myself looking out over the ocean or outward terrain of Kauai while the best views seemed to be on the opposite side of the aircraft. I understand that every seat offers a different perspective, but I left feeling like I missed or only got a small glimpse on many of the iconic sights that I had paid to experience. If you’re booking this tour, I’d strongly recommend asking about preferred seat assignments beforehand (not guaranteed) or considering an option where everyone has a more equal opportunity to enjoy the scenery. I don’t mind paying a premium for an unforgettable experience, but when you’re spending about $400, it’s reasonable to expect that every passenger has a good view of the island’s highlights. Overall, the pilot earned five stars, but the seating experience significantly affected my enjoyment of the tour.
It was incredible! A bit scary at first and them I made myself realize I wasn't going to fall out! Chris was our pilot and headed sure both sides had equal viewing opportunities. The scenery was beyond phenomenal! We spent a full hour on the tour. They warned us to bring a light jacket before arriving so it made the trip comfy! This trip was one of the most memorable highlights of my life!
We had a great doors off helicopter ride with Cassie. She kept everything very level and zero motion sickness issues. We went last year and the pilot was a bit more adventuresome. Cassie is a ex Marine. We did the 60 minutes guided tour of the island. Sure it’s $400 or so a ticket but worth it. Many would call a by her list thing.

Without question, this was one of the most incredible experiences of my life! I chose the doors-off helicopter tour, and if you're even considering it, do it! Flying over Kauai with nothing between you and the breathtaking scenery is absolutely unforgettable. The waterfalls, the Nā Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, and lush valleys are even more spectacular than the pictures. The entire Jack Harter team was professional, organized, and made me feel safe from the moment I arrived. The pilot was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone had an amazing view throughout the flight. I've traveled to many beautiful places, and this experience is at the very top of my list. It gave me a perspective of Kauai that simply isn't possible from the ground. If you're visiting Kauai and can only splurge on one excursion, make it this one. Every penny was worth it, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Great experience from booking, to arriving, personally placed in the helicopter and the views are BREATHTAKING. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience!
