Vid den nedre linstationen kommer vi att gå med i en kö av turister för att åka på den fem minuter långa linbanan till toppen av Taffelberget, 1 067 meter över havet, och utforska toppen. Du hittar en självbetjäningsrestaurang, Table Mountain Café, som erbjuder ett utbud av mat och dryck, snacks, desserter och viner. Taffelberget är en fantastisk plats att sitta och njuta av den befallande 360-graders utsikten över Kapstaden, Taffelbukten, de närliggande topparna i de omgivande bergen och resten av nationalparken Taffelberget, där Cableway ligger. Väl på toppen finns det 3 stigar som du kan välja att göra med guiden: DASSIE WALK (15 min) AGAMA WALK (30 min) KLIPSPRINGER WALK (45 min)
Färjorna avgår från Nelson Mandela Gateway vid V & A Waterfront. (Observera att vår reseguide inte kommer att följa med dig på rundturen på Robben Island-museet.) Du går av vid Murray's Bay Harbor som ligger på öns östra kust och tar en kort promenad till bussar som tar dig och en grupp människor till alla historiska platser runt ön. På vägen till bussarna passerar du byggnader och en hög mur som byggdes av fångar under 1960-talet. Fängelseturnén kommer att genomföras av en Robben Island Tour Guide. De är fullt insatta och kunniga om öns mångskiktade 500-åriga historia. Rundturen inkluderar kyrkogården för människor som dog av spetälska, kalkbrottet, Robert Sobukwes hus, Bluestone-brottet, arméns och flottans bunkrar och Maximum Security Prison där tusentals Sydafrikas frihetskämpar satt fängslade i åratal. Turen kulminerar med en visning av Nelson Mandelas cell.

Amazing… pure history and to be shown around by one of the previous inmates was incredible. Always try and get the 9am boat to robben island. We were lucky and got the only boat of the day. The crossing can be choppy and if it’s too bad all will be cancelled Table mountain was breathtaking. Our guide Chris was excellent

Coordinating with driver, and port operations made for a missed departure and having to buy new tickets for a later time lead to a long day and frustrating experience

After carefully investigating the situation, and looking at the evidence provided by our driver/guide and the emails sent to you. You were given a pick up time and received your tickets 21 days before your tour. The driver/guide contacted you the day before your tour, to reconfirm a pick up time of 8:00am. On the day of the tour, We see on his call log he was there at 7:45am and tried to contact you, he even sent you a Whatsapp image of how he looks and where he was standing waiting for you. You called him back at 8:07am stating you were late. At 8:29am Our pick up driver tried to contact you 6 times. The Ferry to Robben Island left at 9:00. You met him after 9:00. Could you let us know from our side what We could of done differently?
Thought it was a group tour and was happy that it was another personal tour. ‘Said’ our driver and guide Was delightful and pleasant and made Our experience one too remember.

Thought this would be with a group pick up but surprised when we ended up with our own personal driver for the day. Escorted us through to the Robben Island tour which was excellent and then transported us to Table Mountain. Great day and made Very easy by Said our driver.
