Denna 8 timmars tur börjar vid Hippodrome Square fortsätter till Blå moskén som en av stadens sevärdheter. Besök sedan på St Sophia-museet, en av de mest magnifika bysantinska kyrkorna. Fortsätt till Topkapi-palatset, det imperialistiska residenset i det stora ottomanska riket, idag ett museum med stor samling porslin och visning av heliga reliker. Fortsätt till Little Hagia Sofia och Grand Bazaar, frestande souvenirjägare med sin rika samling av värdefulla handgjorda mattor, smycken och läder, där turnén slutar. Lunch på en lokal restaurang serveras under turen.

Istanbul har sina monumentala helgedomar av olika tro och Blå moskén är förmodligen ett av de mest berömda mästerverken i ottomansk religiös arkitektur. Står i stor prestige med sina sex minareter och perfekt proportioner kupol, är det uppkallat efter sina turkosfärgade plattor gjorda av kvarts mineraler. Osmanska sultaner föredrog att be i denna tidlösa helgedom på grund av dess makalösa skönhet fram till när imperiet kollapsade efter världskriget.
Den romerska Hippodromen från det ärorika förflutna visar idag den berömda Theodosius Obelisk och Serpentinkolonnen från 400-talet f.Kr.
Sankta Sofias basilika, en av de största kristna helgedomar som någonsin byggts i historien. Sankta Sophia är utsmyckad med rika mosaikmålningar, kolossala kolonner och exposition av gudomligt lugn, och är ett verkligt världsarv som har inrymt olika trossamfund genom historiens olika perioder.
• Detta besök i det kejserliga palatset av de osmanska sultanerna kommer att omfatta visningar av den kejserliga skattkammaren, den Kinesiska porslinsavdelningen, kalligrafiavdelningen och många fler. Vi kommer också att besöka det valfria segmentet Smyckessamling i slottet.
Grand Bazaar, den stora och legendariska täckta marknaden som är den största souken i världen med nästan 4000 butiker med antikviteter, smycken och mattor.

The sites are great to see, but our guide walked too fast and many of us found it hard to keep up. In addition, his accent was difficult to understand compared to guides on other Viator tours this trip. He offered many facts but didn’t interpret what he told us. Came across as a bit dry.

We were very lucky to have good weather until the end when a thunderstorm broke. The tour with Ahmed was interesting. Possibly too much to fit in comfortably in one day but we are pleased that the tour allowed us to see the major sites . The pick up from the hotel was on time and after a lot of walking the return trip by bus was welcome!

Great experience. An amazing tour of the key historical sites in Istanbul in one day. Our guide, Ms Fatma was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and allowed us to spend as much time as needed at each location. We had a wonderful multi-course lunch at a nearby restaurant as part of the tour. Highly recommend.

We booked this tour to try and see as many things in the old part of Istanbul. Our guide Umutcan was amazing. He met us right on time at our hotel. He was so knowledgeable and knew detailed history for each site we visited. Lunch was at Anka Palace with a a great view of the water and the food was very good. We would absolutely book this tour again
Amazing tour. Saw all the major sites without having to wait in ticket line and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken in explaining the rich history of turkey and the relevance of each historic site. We had a wonderful lunch at a hotel rooftop as well all included! Would 100% recommend this tour.
