Denna tur är utformad för resenärer som vill smaka den verkliga Istanbul som en lokalbo. Från den historiska kryddbasaren till de livliga matgatorna i Kadıköy, kommer gästerna att upptäcka traditionella bagerier, lokal gatumat, turkiskt kaffe, lahmacun, pickles och künefe med en professionell lokal Guide. Till skillnad från en vanlig matresa kombinerar denna upplevelse autentiska smaker med lokala berättelser, dolda platser och den dagliga kulturen i Istanbul. Matkostnader ingår, och det lilla gruppformatet gör turen mer personlig, avslappnad och minnesvärd.

Vi kommer att gå in i Egyptiska basaren för att smaka Kryddor, turkiska desserter, läckerheter, pistagekaffe. Även vi kommer att köpa ost, oliver, honung, gräddmjölk till turkisk frukost
Vi besöker en av de äldsta Han i hjärtat av Istanbul för att dricka te och Pide som är ett traditionellt turkiskt tunnbröd bakat i stenugn och toppat med ingredienser som ost, köttfärs eller grönsaker. Pide kallas ofta ”turkisk pizza” och är älskad för sin krispiga skorpa, rika smaker och nybakade arom.
Ta en färja från Europa till Asien (Kadıköy) för att prova huvudrätt (Kokoreç, Iskender Kebap, Doner etc..)
Özcan Turşuları är en av Kadıköys välkända traditionella picklesbutiker, känd för sina handgjorda turkiska pickles tillagade med klassiska recept och naturliga jäsningsmetoder. Den är en lokal favorit i årtionden och erbjuder besökare en autentisk smak av Istanbuls rika gatumatskultur.
Borsam Taşfırın är känd för sin traditionella stenugnslahmacun, nybakad med tunn krispig deg och rika anatoliska smaker. Att smaka lahmacun här är ett perfekt sätt att uppleva en av Türkiyes mest älskade gatumat i en klassisk lokal atmosfär.
Künefe är en traditionell turkisk dessert gjord på krispiga strimlade bakverk, smält ost och söt sirap, serveras varm och toppad med pistagenötter. Künefe är känt för sin perfekta balans mellan krispiga och mjuka konsistenser och är en av de mest kända smakerna i det turkiska köket.

Very poor the tour operator didn’t turn up! We waited for an hour and called but he said he didn’t get the email
I've done a few food tours in cities and this was one of the best. Sude was a fantastic guide, very knowlegable and personable. We learnt about some of Istanbul and Turkey's history and tried some foods at some places we would not have otherwise. Very highly recommend this tour.

We did the food tour on our very first day in Istanbul and it was the best decision we made! Emray’s incredible knowledge of the city, paired with all the mouthwatering street food, turned it into such a memorable experience.
