Vår guide välkomnar gästerna framför detta museum. Gästerna kommer att besöka museet i ca 30 minuter och fortsätta med spårvagn till huvud arkeologiska museet i Istanbul. Museet är en del av Istanbuls universitet och har en rik samling artefakter som sträcker sig över antika anatoliska, grekiska och romerska civilisationer. Beläget i Beyazıt, erbjuder det besökare en inblick i regionens historiska och kulturella arv.
Våra gäster kommer att besöka detta fantastiska arkeologiska museum med sin guide för en stund sedan kommer de att ha lite fritid inne och trädgården i museet. Istanbuls arkeologiska museer ligger nära Topkapipalatset och har en imponerande samling av antika artefakter. Med utställningar som sträcker sig över Mesopotamien, Anatolien, Grekland och Rom, erbjuder det en djupdykning i regionens rika historia. Byggt på 1600-talet som en del av Nya moskén komplexet, finansierades ursprungligen av skatter som samlats in från Egypten - därav namnet "Egyptiska basaren." Basaren är känd för sina färgglada stånd fyllda med kryddor, torkade frukter, örtteer, godis och souvenirer och erbjuder en sensorisk resa genom den turkiska kulturens smaker och aromer. Det är en perfekt plats att utforska lokala smaker, handla autentiska produkter och uppleva den livliga atmosfären på en marknad från den ottomanska eran som fortfarande lever idag.

We had a wonderful adventure visiting the Istanbul Archeological Museum with Taner. He is very knowledgeable, communicates excellently in English and is an all around interesting and pleasant guy. It was the first day of El Al-Asha holiday, and many sights were closed, so we decided to take this tour as the archeology Museum was open. We lucked out as we had such a personable guide who gave excellent explanations about the ancient artifacts and told us colorful stories. We enjoyed our time with Taner and came away feeling we also got to spend some time with a local and learn a bit more about life in Istanbul.

Deniz was an amazing tour guide for us! He possesses deep and expansive knowledge on the history of Anatolia, of the ancient world, of archaeology and even of the architectures that we happen to pass by on our way between destinations. He made the experience so meaningful and fun!

Deniz is the best tour guide i have ever had. He is literally a walking encyclopaedia about the history of Turkey, providing only the most relevant, interesting and meaningful information. Entrance to the museums and cafes was a breeze, I didn't need to lift a finger as Deniz anticipated my needs and went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the tour. We had a tea break at an art cafe that was a hidden gem as it had unique, original artworks on display as well as for sale (and artists creating work onsite) and delicious food and coffee. I could not recommend this tour more highly, specifically because Deniz ensured it was unforgettable. Thank you so much!

It was a very nice and very educational tour with Deniz. The tour was in English. The Archaeological Museum was breathtaking. The sarcophagus of Alexander the Great is located there. I will definitely recommend this tour to acquaintances and friends. Thank you so much!
