Beskrivning
Vi börjar tidigt på morgonen med din hämtning från ditt boende. Sedan kör vi i 3 timmar till byn Mollepata (2 900 möh), där vi äter en utsökt frukost och har energi att åka till Soraypampa (3 850 möh). Från denna punkt börjar vi vandringen till sjön. Under uppstigningen kommer vi att ha möjlighet att observera den mångsidiga flora och fauna som bebor området. Vi kan hitta några inhemska fåglar i området, samt att få fantastisk utsikt över Andinska landskapet. När vi väl anlände till området kommer vi att njuta av vacker panoramautsikt över den spektakulära Humantay-lagunen (4 200 möh) och dess turkosa vatten. Efter att ha kopplat av går vi ner till Soraypampa, där vår transport väntar på oss för att ta oss till Mollepata för lunch. Senare kommer vår transport att leda tillbaka till staden och lämna oss nära huvudtorget i Cusco.

Humantay Lake är en av de många dolda ädelstenarna i Perus höglandsregion. Smaragdgelidvattnet och den enormt imponerande glaciären samlas i felfri harmoni för den verkligt otroliga syn som du ser. Det är verkligen en dold pärla, eftersom det ligger inbäddat mellan två olika toppar, och det enda sättet att komma åt den (säkert) är underifrån. En kort vandring på två timmar gör att du kan njuta av denna vackra naturjuvel.

The walk was hard, I would recommend taking a horse from the beginning if you are coming from other days of walks or tours. But when you get there it's all worth it. The view is incredible, like you are in a place out of this world. Our guide Saúl was always aware of each member of the group and explained every detail to us. I would definitely return!

We did this tour with Guido Chavez and it was incredible! Guido was very knowledgeable about Inca history and we learned a ton in addition to the amazing views at the lake. Guido also led us in a traditional Inca ceremony that was very moving. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see Humantay Lake.
