Vi beger oss till Lower Wenslydale, med din reseguide som berättar om historien och funktionerna i området. Det första stoppet är vid den traditionella marknadsstaden Masham i Lower Wensleydale, som fick sin marknadsstadga för över 700 år sedan 1251. Här kan du lära dig lite av stadens historia av din guide och se resterna av ett anglosaxiskt korsschakt , som tros vara runt 1300 år gammal, i Church of St. Mary the Virgin, utforska de pittoreska butikerna eller bara njut av en lugn Yorkshire-bryggning och lite kaka på ett av kaféerna på torget – valet är ditt!
På väg över Masham Moor där fåren strövar fritt bland Heather och det stora öppna landskapet på väg över topparna till Nidderdale. Den fantastiska utsikten och landskapet över Gouthwaite Reservoir och miles av torrstensväggar gör det perfekt för några fantastiska fotostopp. Vi anländer till den pittoreska staden Grassington, känd för sin roll som den fiktiva staden "Darrowby" i den nya tv-serien "All Creatures Great and Small", som sändes för första gången 2020. Här kommer du att ha 1,5 timmars ledig tid att utforska butiker, kaféer och inspelningsplatser eller till och med gå in på puben Devonshire Arms (The Drovers in All Creatures Great and Small) för en drink med lokalbefolkningen!
Vi lämnar Grassington och tar oss till de vackra Linton Falls. Det är bara en mycket kort bilresa bort, så om du föredrar det har du möjlighet att ta en kort promenad från Visitor Center-parkeringen nerför den gamla stenstigen till fallen vid Linton och träffa din guide på bron över floden Wharfe .

The scenery of the Dales was spectacular! The trip to Grassington was lovely as I’m an avid fan of All Creatures Great and Small. Our driver Chris was knowledgable, friendly and quite the historian. He also was kind and accommodating, I highly recommend this tour! It would be a great idea to add Helen’s farm into the tour.
We had a wonderful excursion in the Yorkshire Dales with our driver and guide, Chris! The scenery was bucolic and the entire experience was delightful. I highly recommend this tour! Chris added so much to our day travel as he gave historic facts, side stories, great suggestions for eating. He was charming and informative!

We did the Yorkshire Dales trip in June. The landscape was stunning, our driver, Chris, was friendly and knowledgeable, the bus was comfortable, and every stop was well planned. We did a similar Cotswold tour a few years ago, and we liked this even better.

Best investment we made for our Yorkshire area visit! Our guide was fun, knowledgeable, and easy to understand, providing Interesting narration throughout the drive and rich insights on the areas we visited. We especially hoped to visit a wool dealer and he located one for us. Plenty of great photo ops and time to explore villages, shop, and grab a meal or tea. Our guide helped us get to know him and our fellow travelers, making our trip even more fun.

Chris was our driver and tour guide. He was extremely friendly and very informative about all the places that we drove through and all the places that we stopped. I use a walker and it was always out and waiting for me when I got off the bus. He is great at his job and the way that he interacts with people. I would highly recommend this tour and Chris as your tour guide.
