Den första punkten på din rundtur i den heliga dalen kommer att vara ruinerna av Ollantaytambo, som är ett perfekt exempel på inkaarkitektur. Den lokala experten kommer att förse dig med detaljerad information om de olika områdena i det arkeologiska komplexet och du kommer att kunna njuta av din rundtur på ett bättre sätt.
Efter att ha utforskat den imponerande arkeologiska platsen Ollantaytambo, med sina gamla terrasser och hisnande Inka arkitektur, fortsätter vi vårt äventyr mot hjärtat av den heliga dalen - Urubamba. På vägen passerar vi genom fantastisk andinsk natur, pittoreska jordbrukssamhällen och fält med majs och quinoa som sträcker sig längs Urubambafloden. Vid ankomsten till Urubamba har vi tid att koppla av, njuta av den lugna atmosfären.
Efter att ha njutit av otroliga vyer i Urubamba, kommer vi att resa till Moray, där vi kommer att hitta cirkulära jordbruksterrasser, och du kommer att upptäcka de olika odlingsmetoderna i Inkariket.
Vi beger oss sedan till Maras, känt för sina saltgruvor. En annan typ av salt produceras här, och du kommer att kunna lära dig om de metoder som används för att odla detta salt. Under turen passerar vi platser där vi får smaka på den berömda chicha de jora och frutillada, gjord på jordgubbar, och lära oss att förbereda dem..
Som sista stopp lämnar vi Chinchero, platsen för textilvävare. Vår kunniga Guide tog en kort rundtur i jordbrukscentret, ganska framstående sedan Inka civilisationen. Du kommer att kunna njuta av hantverket på de handgjorda marknaderna, efter turen kommer du tillbaka till Cusco ca 16:00 och anländer till din utgångspunkt på ditt hotell.

Jose was very accommodating. It was a last minute trip for me and he was very kind to accommodate me. The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. I will definitely recommend anyone to go with Encuentros.
We had a great experience with our guide Teo! We enjoyed seeing the archeological sights and especially all the llamas and alpacas along the way (especially at the textelería). The chocolate and salt tasting was an excellent addition as well.
We cannot thank Jose and Yoselin enough for such a memorable and perfect day. As a non-native English speaker, I appreciated Jose’s excellent guiding skills so much; his English is wonderful, and his explanations of Inca history were engaging and incredibly easy to understand. Yoselin was an absolute angel, caring for us so kindly when we struggled with the altitude. The highlight of our day was the picnic lunch they set up for us—the fried rice was delicious, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. They even helped us retrieve our stored luggage from Cusco and drove us right to the airport for our flight. They are a beautiful couple providing top-notch, thoughtful service. If you are visiting, do not hesitate to book with them!
We had a wonderful day with Jose and Yoselin! We were staying in Ollantaytambo and had already seen the ruins, but Jose was very accommodating about making a few changes to our itinerary. We learned alot, saw some incredible things and had a lovely picnic lunch out in the countryside. Both guides were very patient answering all of our off topic questions. Would totally recommend this tour if you need to travel between Ollantaytambo and Cuzco.
I did the tour from Ollantaytambo to Cusco ending our machu picchu tour with our guide was very friendly and extensive knowledge to Serca of history actually I really loved it I highly recommend doing these two tours thanks Jose

Such a great tour! Getting picked up in Urubamba and dropped off in Cusco made things so easy for me. The guide was super friendly and knew a lot about the area, and the stops along the Sacred Valley were just incredible. Everything was well-organized but still felt relaxed. Definitely recommend

We did the Sacred Valley tour from Ollantaytambo to Cusco with Encounters Peru Adventure and it was an excellent experience. From the beginning the organization was clear and punctual. We visited amazing places like the fortress of Ollantaytambo, Moray, the Salineras de Maras and Chinchero, where we learned a lot about the Andean textile tradition. Our guide José was exceptional: very professional, attentive and with a great knowledge of Inca history and culture. Thanks to it, each site became even more valuable and we better understood the importance of the Sacred Valley. I totally recommend Encuentros Perú Adventure and the guide José for those who want to live a cultural and well organized experience in the Sacred Valley.

Great day! We were picked up in Ollantaytambo and dropped off in Cusco and along the way we got to visit a lot of archaeological and cultural sites in the Sacred Valley. Our guide, Dario, was very knowledgeable (and accommodating!) and kind and our driver, Fernando, made us feel very safe on some truly gnarly mountain roads! Highly recommend!

I recently took a private full-day tour of the Sacred Valley, and it was fantastic! The landscapes were breathtaking, and each stop offered a unique insight into Incan history. The guide was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information. I loved exploring the local markets and trying traditional foods. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I highly recommend!

Stevin was our guide and he was amazing! He showed us the ruins of Ollantaytambo, Moray, the salt mines, and then took us to lunch. After, he took us to a place where a woman showed us how she makes clothing out of alpaca wool and then to the town of Chinchero. This was all in one day and has been the highlight of our Peruvian experience. He explained the history of every place we went to and was so kind. If anyone is visiting Peru, I would recommend getting Stevin as a guide!!
