Upplev tre av de mest imponerande forntida platserna i regionen utanför de viktigaste templen vid Angkors arkeologiska plats: Beng Mealea och Koh Kor-templet. Du kommer att åka minivan eller annat klimatkontrollerat fordon från Siem Reap till Beng Mealea och Koh Ker. Stanna vid Beng Mealea, 40 km öster om Angkor Wat, Kambodja. Res runt 66 kilometer från Siem Reap Center. Tempelkomplexet har aldrig restaurerats, och det är en bråkdel av storleken på Angkor Wats besökare. Ta dig tid att koppla av och varva ner på de stora, öppna markerna som omger templet. Resenärer kan ha trevligt med att vandra runt templet på morgonen medan det mestadels är tyst. Om du gillar fotografering innebär detta också att du kan ta några fantastiska bilder om du går.
Stanna vid: Koh Ker-templet, RN64, 2 km söder om ingången till Koh Ker-platsen, och Srayang, 100 km norr om Siem Reap, Kambodja. Koh Ker Lost Archaeological Site finns 120 kilometer nordost om Siem Reap. Koh Ker fungerade troligen som Jayavarman IV:s statliga tempel när det var huvudstad i hela imperiet (928–944 e.Kr.). Khmer-monarken, Jayavarman IV, flyttade huvudstaden till Chok Gargyar, som sedan har blivit Koh Ker.

I highly recommend this tour! Sengheak and the driver Sokhai were very considerate and made the experience truly special. It might be even better to join this tour after seeing angkor wat, as it offers a great comparison.

Koh Ker Temple is about 2 hour drive from the center. So I decided to join this tour, and together with Beng Mealea is a good route for me. Our guide explained a lot about the history and anecdotes. Both ruins are fascinating and breathtaking !

I had a great experience with this travel agency in Siem Reap. I joined a day trip to Koh Ker and Beng Mealea, and everything was very well organized. Our guide Boray was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He explained the history clearly and made the long journey enjoyable. The driver was excellent as well — very smooth and safe driving. Even though the sites are far from Siem Reap, the itinerary was efficient and well planned. I went on a tour around Koke Temple, Bemmelia Vande Icerei. My guides were Mony and Johnny. Each of the ruins is unique, there are many sights to see, and they guided us through the historical background, so it was a lot of fun. They stopped by recommended shops along the way, provided water and snacks, showed us where the scaffolding was bad, and cared about meticulously, so I enjoyed it stress-free. The lunch shop was beautiful and delicious. If I ever came to Cambodia, I wanted to ask for another tour like this. Thank you very much.

This tour was spectacular. our guide Nary and driver Kosal are the best of the best. We went into the tour with little knowledge about Cambodia. Nary gave us the full rundown. He explained the history, religions, people, agriculture, wildlife and geography of this amazing country. Could not have had a better guide. This tour puts you right in the jungle amongst ancient temples and of course the Pyramid that rises above it all. Plenty of wildlife to be seen from snakes to spiders, stick bugs to massive trails of ants. These sites are steeped in rich history, covering multiple religions, wars, and the ongoing preservation. It is like stepping into another world. Would recommend it to anyone visiting Siem Reap, absolutely amazing experience. Nary's positive attitude and depth of knowledge truly made the trip one of a kind.
