Upptäck den gamla inkaplatsen Machu Picchu på en heldagstur från Cusco, med natursköna tågresor och en fascinerande guidad utforskning av detta UNESCO-världsarv. Börja ditt äventyr med en tidig hotellhämtning för transfer till Ollantaytambo tågstation. Ombord på ett bekvämt tåg i cirka 1 timme och 40 minuter med fantastisk utsikt över Anderna och frodiga landskap innan du når Aguas Calientes. Efter en 30 minuters bussresa till citadellet, njut av en guidad tur som belyser Soltemplet, jordbruksterrasser och den ikoniska Intihuatana stenen. Därefter utforskar du Aguas Calientes innan du återvänder till Cusco.

Resan börjar mycket tidigt på morgonen med upphämtning på hotellet i Cusco mellan 03:30 och 04:10. Vår turisttransport tar dig till tågstationen som ligger i Ollantaytambo och reser genom det natursköna landskapet i den heliga dalen. Under bilresan passerar du traditionella andinska byar och vackra bergslandskap medan du beger dig mot den heliga dalen. Transfern garanterar att du kommer i tid för att gå ombord på tåget till Machu Picchu.
Ungefär kl. 06:00 stiger du på turisttåget som drivs av PeruRail eller Inca Rail, vanligtvis Voyager eller Expedition. Tågresan varar cirka 1 timme och 40 minuter, följer Urubambaflodens lopp medan du passerar genom spektakulära andinska landskap, frodiga molnskogar och dramatiska bergslandskap. Denna järnvägsresa anses vara en av de vackraste tågrutterna i Sydamerika.
Omkring 07:50 kommer ni till staden Aguas Calientes. Din Guide eller lokala representant möter dig på tågstationen och eskorterar dig till busstationen. Därefter stiger du ombord på den officiella bussen som drivs av Consettur, som tar cirka 30 minuter att bestiga berget genom en slingrande väg som leder till ingången till Machu Picchu helgedomen.
Ungefär kl 09:00 börjar er guidade tur i Machu Picchu. Du kommer att utforska den arkeologiska platsen efter Circuit 2 Machu Picchu, anses vara den mest kompletta och panorama väg inom citadellet. Under det 2 till 2,5 timmar långa guidade besöket kommer din professionella Guide att förklara historien, arkitekturen och den kulturella betydelsen av detta UNESCO-världsarv. Du kommer att besöka viktiga sektorer av citadellet, inklusive jordbruksterrasser, Stortorget, Soltemplet, De tre fönstrens tempel, ceremoniella områden och gamla bostadsområden. Efter den guidade turen tar ni bussen tillbaka ner till Aguas Calientes. Här har du fri tid att njuta av lunch på en lokal restaurang (lunch ingår), utforska den lilla staden, besöka den lokala hantverksmarknaden eller koppla av innan du stiger på tåget tillbaka till den heliga dalen.
På kvällen återvänder du till tågstationen runt 17:50 för att stiga på ditt returtåg som avgår ungefär 18:20. Under återresan kommer du återigen att resa längs den natursköna järnvägen längs Urubambafloden medan du njuter av de vackra andinska landskapen när solen börjar gå ner över bergen.
Vid ankomsten till Ollantaytambo tågstation (ca 20 : 05–20 : 20), kommer vår transport att vänta på att överföra dig tillbaka till Cusco. Bilresan tillbaka till staden tar cirka 1 timme och 40 minuter, och ankomsten till ditt hotell förväntas runt 22:30

Upphämtningsplatser och tider
Upphämtning erbjuds från hotell som ligger i Cuscos historiska centrum och närliggande områden. Om ditt boende ligger utanför upphämtningszonen kan en extra transferavgift tillkomma. Eftersom turen börjar mycket tidigt på morgonen (mellan 03:30 och 04:10), ombeds resenärerna att vänta i hotellets reception eller vid huvudentrén till sitt boende minst 10 minuter före den planerade upphämtningstiden. Det är viktigt att ange namnet på ditt hotell och ett aktivt kontaktnummer (helst WhatsApp) vid bokningstillfället för att korrekt samordna upphämtningstiden.

This was the best tripof my life, the guide, the logistics and cordination were simply perfect. Everything was well organised. The tour started with a transfer early in the morning from our hotel to Sacred Valley train station. Miluska, from the tour company was easily reachable through Whatsapp and helped us a lot.
