Vår dag börjar med ett besök i Paarl där du kommer att slås av skönheten i dalen, den orörda blå himlen, de böljande vingårdarna och Paarls pärla högt ovanför dalen. Paarl skapade rubriker när president Mandela släpptes från Groot Drakenstein-fängelset (tidigare känt som Victor Verster-fängelset). Vi njuter av en vinprovning på en av de lokala egendomarna. Från Paarl fortsätter vi nordväst till den vackra byn Franschhoek, som grundades 1688 av franska invandrare på flykt undan hugenotternas religiösa förföljelse i Europa. Ett minnesmärke i staden hedrar ankomsten av dessa tidiga bosättare som hjälpte till att utveckla de viner som efterfrågades av Napoleon, Bismarck och kungligheter som Edward VII, prinsen av Wales. Här stannar vi för lunch och ytterligare en vinprovning på en lokal vingård. Därefter beger vi oss till Stellenbosch, Sydafrikas näst äldsta stad och njuter av en sista vinprovning innan vi återvänder till Kapstaden.

The experience was very smoothly offered and the itinerary was all we could have hoped for. Three very different wineries all charming and with beautiful surroundings. The tastings were interesting with a good coverage of what flavours to experience. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our driver and guide for the trip was very helpful, friendly and informative about the history of the wine estates and also about South African culture. A very enjoyable day and we can recommend wholeheartedly to others.

Disappointing. Billed as a three winery tour, we only visited 2. We were pressured into only visiting 2 by the guide. It was clear that there was insufficient time to visit 3 wine farms. The first farm was excellent. Well prepared, we were guided through the wines and given a tour. The second at Franschhoek was poor. We were seated at a table and given 3 wines, only 3 of which were described to us. This We should receive partial reimbursement since we only visited 2 of the 3 wineries. I would not recommend this tour.

I wish I could give 10 stars. Extremely happy with the wine tasting tour and I don’t drink wine. Our guide Ivan was superb. He told us all about each area we drove through. The wine was a bonus.

Wonderful driver who was very knowledgeable accommodating and professional. Also felt very safe when he was driving. The wine tasting and pairings were everything that I imagined. Staff at wineries also knowledgeable and delightful.
Eddie, our driver and tour guide, was informative, friendly, courteous and very organised. We visited 3 wineries and had a day out that exceeded our expectations. Stellenbosch is a beautiful wine growing area and the wineries and wine were excellent.

I had an all day excursions the day before the wine tour and was so tired I almost cancelled. I am soooooo happy I did not. It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect....from the tour guide to the wine to the locations. The views can not be described in words you have to see them. Absolutely Amazing! Definitely worth the money. Hopefully you will get Ashley, he was nice and informative and so patient with our small group.
