Resplan

We booked the tour in December 2025 for our April 2026. When reached out to confirm there was no response to any emails and when tried calling the phone number on the website it was not in service. Don't know of this is a scam or not.
Florin was a great tour guide - we did a full day private tour (which we were grateful for after seeing all of the large tour busses and groups that moved at a snail like pace). Florin catered the trip to whatever we were most interested in allowing us to cover ample ground. He had amazing stories and insights. One he figured out we were also Band of Brothers fans he made sure to weave in some unique stories about the regiment and made sure we had time to stop at Brecourt Manor and the Dick Winters statue in addition to getting to see Omaha and Utah beaches, Pont du Hoc and St Mer Egliese. We saw so much more than any of the other tour companies and were so impressed by how Florin kept our attention through it all. Highly recommend.
We were three families totalling eight people and Florin guided us over three days with tours of Omaha Beach, Juno Beach, and Utah Beach along with tours of Mont-Saint-Michel and Bayeux. Florin’s knowledge of the D-Day landings, the history of Mont-Saint-Michel and the history of the region was impressive. More impressive was his ability to weave historical fact with the personal stories of the individuals involved. He was also very accommodating with our requests and time schedules. Florin was by far the best tour guide that we’ve ever had. If we could give an extra star to Florin we would. Highly recommended!!
Florin is a gem. He met us at the train station and immediately was friendly and let us grab a coffee. His white van is brand new and extremely spacious. He has vast knowledge of the history at these beaches - we were absolutely blown away by the dates and facts and personal notebook he has to go along with the tour. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to hire a private guide. He is absolutely brilliant and we are so blessed for the experience he provided us in our one day in Normandy. Thank you!!!
I can't say enough good things about Florin and Spearhead Tours. We had two days planned in the area and Florin customized an itinerary of the Normandy beaches and Mont Saint-Michel for us. His knowledge both WWII and ancient history is amazing and he has a natural story-telling ability that left us speechless. He was also very accommodating to our schedule and helped us with hotel and restaurant reservations too. I highly recommend booking your Normandy tours with Florin and you won't be disappointed!
Florin picked us up at the Bayeau train station for our tour in a very nice comfortable van, he was very personal and his English is easy to understand. He was the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met about Normandy! There were four of us and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our all day tour. I don’t think anyone could’ve given us more history and personal stories than he did, answered every question and knew the best spots to stop along the way. Lunch was good and he helped us order when we didn’t understand the menu or waitress. I highly recommend Florin and this tour. I promise you will not be disappointed!
Florin was very knowledgeable and personable. I would definitely recommend this tour and this guide.
Florian was great!! Passionate, and filled with facts and specifics, he gave us a fabulous tour of this historically significant time in our history. Highly recommend this tour if you're headed to the Normandy region.
Floren of Spearhead Tours is an amazing guide. Friendly and affable. Extremely knowledgeable. His English is impeccable. I don't know how he remembers all those details! Wonderful experience! I would tour with him again!
This was such an interesting, fun, fact filled day. Florin was a fantastic guide and driver. It wasn’t just facts but very personal stories about the brave men and women who sacrificed so much for all of us. Beautiful drive to these sights. We especially loved the stories from St Mere Eglise Florin also recommended books and reading about operation overlord and the people involved which I really appreciate. We had a question at the end of the day about a soldier and he didn’t know the answer but later replied to us the answer!! We all would highly recommend this tour and we look forward to our next visit and booking another tour with Florin. Also ending the day at the American Cemetery and the flag lowering with Taps playing was so impactful
