En 9 timmars rundtur till Aveiro, portugisiska "Venedig" och Coimbra, en av Portugals äldsta huvudstäder. Börja i Aveiro, en museums stad Art Noveau, fåglar och saltpannor, hittar du några av de vackraste byggnaderna i landet. En tradicional "moliceiro" båttur längs kanalerna är en del av turnén. Efter provsmakning på de typiska regionala godisarna, ta en promenad i mitten där vi kommer att besöka katedralen, St Joana museet och fiskmarknaden. Du får då lite ledighet till lunch. Därefter tar vi dig till Coimbra, en stad som är känd för att vara studentstaden med ett häpnadsväckande universitet. Fylld med monument och historiska skatter, är denna stad redo att upptäckas av dig. Börja med katedralen i Coimbra, St.Cruz-kyrkan och Gamla stan. Följt av University of Coimbra där du kan gå in för ett valfritt besök. Du kommer då att köras till ditt boende tillbaka i Porto.

Our guide Miguel did a great job, he picked us up on time and in a comfortable air conditioned van. We went to Coimbra 1st and enjoyed the University there & Miguel explained the history of the city and student life there, he left us free time to walk around and explore on our own all the pedestrian streets and without rushing us. After that, he offered us to go to Cosa Nova, which wasn’t planned in the tour so we could see the colorful houses and even go up to the beach to see it. Thanks much for that!! In Aveiro we enjoyed the river cruise and the he showed us some less touristic places. We enjoyed our time in this tour with Miguel as he did a wonderful job guiding us around. Recommended!
A tour with an "insider", Vasco, who had studied Law at the University of Coimbra and provided plenty of interesting details on this very strategic historial Portuguese University and the town. The cruise in Aveira was also a very interesting canal journey including many distinct buildings and sites. And Vasco took us to a great local resturant for a great local version of seafood paella! A great day tour..!!
This was a very fun and educational tour. David made it super entertaining, and cultural. Im glad we chose this tour instead of going solo.

We had a great trip from Porto to both Coimbra and Aveiro! We didn't know what to expect but it was delightful. I wish our guide had informed us about the shopping and "downtown" area in Aveiro. He dropped us at the restraurant that one of our fellow travellers booked for lunch, then showed us 2 more behind it. If we had gone 2 more blocks, we would have found a plethora of restraurants, shops, and views! Oh well, next time!

Wonderful tour. Guide Antonio was knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Coimbra is interesting and historic. Boat ride in Aveiro was relaxing and informative. Lovely day.

The tour was cool but half run, I thought that at the university of coimbra we would have time to buy the ticket and get to know from the inside, but it was only to get to know from the outside and we couldn't get into anything. The time to eat was quite fast too, only gave time to eat in a bakery and still very bad, could reserve a longer time to eat and indicate a better place. It was included an extra stop on the tour that was a beach, which I preferred not to have gone and managed to make some walk inside the university of coimbra. The reservation said that the university ticket was not included, but since it was to have 90 minutes there, we thought we could buy and get to know; but the guide only showed outside and said that we would not have time to go into anything. The boat ride in Aveiro was very cool, but we didn't have time to walk in the center afterwards.
