För gruppstorlekar på upp till 4, 8 eller 16 passagerare ger denna privata dagstur från York, bara för ditt sällskap, möjlighet att tillbringa tre timmar med att njuta av Whitby, samt utforska den natursköna och pittoreska North York Moors National Park. Du kommer att ha hela tre timmar ledig tid i fiskehamnen Whitby på denna resa, för att se Whitby Abbey (inspiration till Dracula-böckerna), besöka Captain Cook attraktioner, handla lite Whitby Jet eller gotiskt mode, prova Fish & Chips från den berömda Magpie Café eller bara njuta av den livliga hamnen och vattnet - valet är ditt! Förutom fotostopp på hedarna stannar du också till vid den berömda Kilburn White Horse, marknadsstaden Helmsley (med sina pittoreska kaféer, butiker och medeltida slott) och de vackra, traditionella engelska byarna Goathland (inspelningsplats för Heartbeat och Harry Potter) och Lealholm (med sina språngbrädor över floden Esk).

Vårt första stopp är vid Kilburn White Horse Hill-figuren på gränsen till North York Moors National Park, där din guide kommer att berätta historien om hur det snidades in i sluttningen 1857.
Vi stannar sedan i den pittoreska köpstaden Helmsley där du kan se det medeltida slottet, utforska de pittoreska butikerna eller bara ha en lugn Yorkshire Brew på ett av kaféerna - valet är ditt!
Efter Helmsley tar vi oss av genom Hutton-le-Hole in i hjärtat av North York Moors National Park för några fotostopp, passerar 1500-talets Lion Inn på Blakey Ridge (den högsta punkten i morerna) och Ralph's Cross, och stoppar sedan i den pittoreska och pittoreska byn Yorkshire i Lealholm för att se springbrunnen över floden Esk - en fantastisk fotomöjlighet! Det är då bara en kort resa till Whitby, medan du hör historier om kuststadens historia från din guide som också berättar om de viktigaste sevärdheterna som du kanske vill besöka.
När du anländer till Whitby, kommer det att vara en kort stopp vid Captain Cook Statue och Whalebone Arch på West Cliff och sedan alternativa drop-offs i hamnen eller Whitby Abbey, om du vill börja ditt besök där för att undvika att klättra upp 199 steg! Du anländer till bybilden Goathland (filmplats för "Aidensfield" i TV-serien Heartbeat och "Hogsmeade" i Harry Potter-filmerna) där du kan utforska filmplatserna, eller kanske bara ta en glass från bybutiken - valet är ditt!
Vi lämnar Goathland för vårt sista stopp för att njuta av den fantastiska utsikten vid Hole of Horcum innan vi går tillbaka till York.

Chris was an excellent guide. The private Mercedes van was clean and comfortable. Chris’ historical knowledge was great and he adapted the tour based on our wants and timeline. It was the right mix of guided and alone time

This was a fantastic tour with a great guide Mark who was entertaining, friendly and informative as well as being a careful and considerate driver, i would certainly recommend this tour to anyone visiting York and if you get Mark as driver/guide it will be a bonus

Absolutely fantastic day tour. Whitby was amazing. So too were the Heartbeat and Harry Potter highlights. Our guide was excellent and very informative. Small groups, we only ended up with 3 on our tour. Was told they never cancel for anyone, unless it is not possible for them to drive. I highly recommend them. Wish I had more time to do their other tours.

My husband and I went on the tour, and it was so much fun! Our tour guide, Mark, was super knowledgeable about everything and was a great photographer for us! We saw so many cool sites and heard some amazing stories. If you get the chance I'd highly recommend checking out the Abbey in Whitby. It was such a cool piece of history and was so neat to walk around!

We really got to see a lot of villages and beautiful scenery. There were lots of stops for picture taking. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Great tour and a very informative guide. Beautiful scenery and plenty of time to stop for photos. Whitby is a great place for fish and chips and we enjoyed the Magpie restaurant. Travelled back via Goathland where Heartbeat was filmed and a real treat at the railway station when the Nigel Gressley passed through. A great day out and would highly recommend it.
