Njut av en heldagsupplevelse i Kapstaden som inkluderar en Robben Island-båttur och och stannar vid Boulders Penguins Colony och Godahoppsudden. Denna turné inkluderar natursköna rutter och pittoreska stopp.

Upphämtning sker från ditt hotell/boende i Kapstaden mellan 07:00 och 08:00 (tiden kommer att meddelas dagen innan turnén börjar). Vänligen träffa din guide i hotellets reception/lobby.
Vi kommer att resa till Nelson Mandela Gateway till Robben Island, där du fortsätter direkt till båtens avgångslinje. När du har gått ombord på den delade båten, kommer du att segla på öppet hav till Robben Island Museum. Vid din ankomst kommer du att gå av båten och guidas på en buss av en bosatt Robben Island Tour Guide för en rundtur på ön. Guiden kommer att ge livekommentarer om Robben Island och dess historia. Turen kommer att kulminera med utsikt över fängelsecellen där förre president Nelson Mandela hölls som fånge och en möjlighet att ta en promenad i hans historiska fotspår på The Long March to Freedom. När rundturen på Robben Island har avslutats går du ombord på båten för att återvända tillbaka till V&A Waterfront. Hela turnéns varaktighet inklusive båtturerna är cirka 4 timmar.
Efter din Robben Island-upplevelse, träffa guiden när du går av båten och res till Boulders Penguins Colony genom M3. Vid ankomsten besöker vi de afrikanska pingvinerna som kan beskådas från strandpromenaden som tar sig igenom sanddynerna och den täta växtligheten. Du kan till och med ha turen att mötas av en av dessa förtrollande havsdjur längs strandpromenaden.
Därefter fortsätter vi till Godahoppsudden. När vi går in i Godahoppsuddens huvudport kommer vi att köra en kort bit innan vi ser de två navigeringsfyrarna med kors ovanpå var och en: Dias-korset och da Gama-korset. Dessa monument rekonstruerades för att fira Vasco da Gama och Bartolomeu Dias som upptäcktsresande som var de första att nå Kap. Ett besök på Godahoppsudden är inte komplett utan ett foto bakom Godahoppsuddens namntavla.
De flesta besökare vid Godahoppsudden kan ta en kort vandring till Cape Point Lighthouse. Du är dock välkommen att ta den flygande holländaren till fyren. Cape Point är den officiella mötesplatsen för de två havsströmmarna. Babianer kan verka söta, men vi rekommenderar att du inte kommer för nära dem eftersom dessa är vilda djur och kan bli farliga.
När vi lämnar Cape Point kommer vi att resa genom M65 och passera Noordhoek Village som är bäst för kaffestopp, men på grund av tid kan den vara stängd. Vi kommer att stanna vid den berömda Chapmans Peak drive om den är i drift. Detta är definitivt ett fotostopp och vi råder gästerna att hålla sig borta från kanterna av enheten, särskilt i blåsigt väder.
Därefter kommer vi att köra genom Hout Bay, Camps Bay för att njuta av den natursköna vägen på vägen för att släppa av dig vid ditt hotell/boende eller begärda avlämningsställe.

Wonderful experience with our Driver/Tour Guide: Mr. Talent. He's literally so talented: very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the history of South Africa! It was great visiting the iconic Robben Island museum and having a guided tour of the place in a bus (the highlights were learning about the heartbreaking story of Robert Sobukwe; taking photos at the huge photoframe with Table Mountain in the background and buying a little painting of the island & fridge magnet as souvenirs) at a stop; and seeing the infamous limestone quarry at which political prisoners were subjected to 8 hours of daily hard labor. We were then handed over to a former inmate who spent 7years at the infamous jail. He narrated his harrowing ordeal and the tour culminated into visiting Nelson Mandela's jail cell: 466/64. The place has such huge historical, political and cultural significance on South Africa's past, present and future! We then sailed back to the Waterfront on the mighty Atlantic Ocean, and caught glimpses of Dolphins and Seals in the water. After, we drove across town to the Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. What an honor it was to "walk in the footsteps" of the great Portuguese explorers: Vasco da Gama & Bartolomeu Dias, and hiking up the historic old Lighthouse (1860-1919). The icing on the cake was photo moments at the Cape of Good Hope (the furthest Southern point of the African continent and witnessing the point where the Atlantic & Indian oceans meet. A day I'll never forget! :)

I cannot express enough how AMAZING this tour was. It’s new, so if the one review is off putting to you, all I’ll say is - Be a leader and not a follower… Book it! Ray was a phenomenal guide. As this was the last activity I booked after putting my trip to Cape Town together, I really wish I booked all of our tours with them. Kasi Africa Tours offers an amazing variety of tours on their website. And if their team is as amazing as Ray is, I’m sure these reviews will skyrocket in no time. From beginning to end, the customer service I experienced when I reached out to Ray prior to booking was PHENOMENAL. He was very patient with me through the booking process and once we got to Cape Town, the experience in itself was amazing. Our day started with the Robben Island Tour, then we got lunch upon returning to the marina. Then it was off to Boulder’s Beach where we got to see some penguins and explore the beach ourselves a bit. Next, we headed to Cape of Good Hope. Upon the way we saw some animals (Baboons, Ostriches, etc). Ray stopped every time so we could get some videos and photos, and he even gave us some insight to the animals. When we got to Cape of Hope, we got to roam around and Ray even took some videos and pictures for us! Our scenic drive to Chapman’s peak was so beautiful. Ray gave us the history of the towns we were passing along the way and pointed out some of Cape Town’s treasures as well. The point of Chapman’s peak was gorgeous. We got so many photos and videos at our stop. It was truly an unforgettable experience. Kasi Africa Tours also offers transportation services. So, we luckily got to see our friend Ray again when he took us to our safari. I would HIGHLY recommend them if you’re in Cape Town or visiting for the first time. You will not be disappointed. 12/10!

The whole day was fantastic from start to finish. Ray, from the moment he met us at our hotel, was an amazing guide, friendly, courteous, accommodating and so informative on all aspects of the tour….and much more!!
