Du kommer att mötas på ditt hotell av din privata guide och bege dig till foten av Corcovadoberget med bil, och passera Rios stränder och Rodrigo de Freitas-lagunen på vägen.
När du når Cosme Velho-distriktet tar du ett unikt schweiziskt kugghjulståg som klättrar uppför berget från basen till nästan toppen. Själva toppen nås genom att gå uppför en trappa för att komma till den ikoniska Kristusstatyn. Utsikten, från denna utsiktspunkt, med den omgivande Tijuca National Forest som breder ut sig nedanför och en cirkel av berg som stänger horisonten längst bak i Guanabarabukten är verkligen spektakulär. Efter en stund att gå runt och fota tar vi oss ner igen.
Vi beger oss sedan mot det bohemiska området Santa Teresa, hem till en samling lokala butiker och gallerier. Det charmiga området Santa Teresa har också många trendiga barer och restauranger som erbjuder flera alternativ av snacks och rätter, för att inte tala om dess hisnande vyer. Missa inte det!
Från Santa Teresa till Lapa finns de berömda Selaron-trapporna, en trappa dekorerad med färgglada kakelplattor. "Lapa" är känt för sin energiska bohemiska atmosfär och är det mest livliga området i stan dag och natt.
Vi går sedan genom Rios centrum genom några av de coolaste turistområdena och fångar sevärdheter och kultur fram till torget Mauá. Vandringen passerar förbi historiska attraktioner, massor av barer och restauranger, och anländer till torget Mauá där alla stammar och människor möts.
Mauá-torget kombinerar skönhet, säkerhet, stil och mycket kultur att andas medan du beundra prakten av "Tomorrow Museum" . Få historisk information, men på ett roligt sätt som du aldrig upplevt någon annanstans!
Vi åker sedan uppför Sockertoppen. En serie med två linbanor tar dig till toppen av Sugar Loaf. På toppen, återigen några av de mest hisnande vyerna över Rio, denna gång från en annan utsiktspunkt än vid Corcovado. Efter det kanske turister vill njuta av lunch på en mycket trevlig steakhouse-restaurang med "allt-du-kan-äta" (ingår ej).
Det viktigaste brasilianska fotbolltemplet. Stadium av viktiga brasilianska fotbollsfakta och händelser som fotbolls-VM 1950 och 2014 och det tusende gjorda målet i kungens fotboll Pelé, 1969. Efter det kanske turister vill njuta av lunch på en mycket trevlig steakhouse-restaurang med "allt-du-kan-äta" (ingår ej).
Strand som inspirerade kompositionen av den berömda låten "Ipanema Girl". Vacker strand som förtjänar all berömmelse och beundran.
Vi kommer också att passera flera intressanta platser längs vägen, inklusive Copacabana och Ipanema stränder, Maracanã Stadium (utanför) och andra sevärdheter. Efter din utflykt tas du tillbaka till ditt hotell och släpps av där du har eftermiddagen fri.

Our guide Sergio was more than fantastic. He was punctual, attentive, spoke very good English and very personable. He texted us via WhatsApp the day before the tour to confirm the time and pick-up. Along the tour he kept us informed of the history behind the sights we were about to visit and various other nuggets of information about the city. David, my guide, was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make the most of my tour and experience to another level. He was mindful of my needs as LGBTQ person. It was our first time in Rio and we wanted a good understanding of the local culture beyond the fun beaches. The private tour was well organized and gave us a great opportunity to customize for things we wanted to see. Take a look at what's included and work with the guide to make it your own! We found we needed 6 hours to cover our favorites. I also suggest starting a little after rush hour to make it easier to get around town. (10 am for example). Our guide, Sergio, was very knowledgeable of the history, cool neighborhoods, food and art of the area. He gave us his experience of the local gay culture as well. We had a great time and really high recommend Sergio and the tour!
