This trip was AMAZING! Alfonso completely made this tour the best, with his poetic words, interesting facts, and genuine kind personality, our entire group loved it all!
My family and I took the half day trip to the valley with Lawrence and Ricardo. Both guides were great. They were very helpful, had a great attitude, and they were very informative. We had a large group so we had two vehicles and the driver for the vehicle I was in was Lawrence. I had a wonderful conversation with him and he was extremely knowledgeable about the area we visited and Porto itself. He provided a lot of great and helpful information. This is definitely something I would like to do again. The only reason I give this trip 3 stars for value is because in my opinion, the area merits a longer stay to fully enjoy but obviously that has nothing to do with the guides. It was simply the amount of time we had to make this trip. Thank you for a experience.
This was a great day. Beautiful scenery. Our driver Riccardo was such a seasoned guide and so charming. It was just long enough to visit 1 winery if you are not a drinker. The drive is about 2 hours from Porto and just make sure you can handle the winding roads. One guest had a hard time.
A fantastic day in the Douro valley sampling fine wines, touring an established vineyard and aided by our excellent driver and guide Jose, who definitely deserved his tip! Highly recommend this trip.

From start to finish the tour was exceptional. Our guide Ricardo was kind, and professional, and the group was very friendly. The tour was brief but the tasting was great, including both olive oil and Porto, which were delicious. We stopped at a magnificent lookout point for photos. Would recommend.

This tour was absolute one of the most breathtaking trips I’ve taken in my life (and I have travelled reasonably well). The drive to the vineyards, the experience on the way, the wine tasting. But I think the high point was the view of the Douro valley, river on the way. Our guide João Jesus, was extremely friendly and most importantly knew exactly where to stop. To me that moment was surreal.

Great experience all around! Clear and E efficient communication leading up to the event, informative drive with a pitstop to walk over the Douro River. Guided session at Croft Port Winery visiting both the vineyards and the winery with a tasting on the marvelous patio. The local cuisine lunch was very good (and the tasting of the port fire water was awesome). Highly recommended!
