Vid Janauary sjön kommer vi att äta lunch på en flytande restaurang och gå på en upphängd led vid trädkronorna och nå sjön med näckrosor (under månaderna i slutet av augusti och mitten av december kan vi inte nå denna plats på grund av Amazonas torrperiod så vi besöker en annan plats också nära området men utan näckrosor)
I Catalãos flytande by kommer vi att upptäcka ett av de mest unika sätten vårt folk lever i flytande hus mitt i en sjö. Vi stannar vid en fiskodling för att leka med den berömda Pirarucu fisken (den största fiskarten med fjäll i sötvatten i ordet). under månaderna mitten av augusti och mitten av december kanske vi inte kan nå denna sjö på grund av torkan i Amazonas)
Ett av de mest fantastiska fenomenen när de två floderna med olika färger och egenskaper rinner sida vid sida utan att blandas. Vi kommer att stanna för att ha en förklaring på detta fenomen och ta några bilder.
Vi kommer att återvända till marinan som passerar utkanten av Manaus och se industriområdet, hamnarna, marknaderna och mycket mer.

Exceptional experience enhanced by super customer care. Experience the meeting of the waters, a tasty lunch, a floating village and a lake of water lilies and caiman crocodiles. Loved this experience.

Terrible experience. In the picture they show you a large boat with people wearing life jackets. In reality, this was a tiny boat, seating 3-4 passengers, no safety equipment and very unsafe. There were 3 of us in addition to the guide and operator, the river was especially turbulent that day and the water splashed us from all sides. It rained a bit and the boat did not even have a proper cover. They were supposed to take us for lunch to a floating restaurant but when we got there, hardly any food was left. Other tour groups had already eaten and were leaving. Very badly managed trip, total waste of money.

Very enjoyable outing. We first went to a floating restaurant for lunch buffet of arapaima cooked several ways and chicken. There was a great variety of side dishes so everyone could find something they would enjoy. Next to the restaurant was a boardwalk that led to a pond of giant water lilies. After lunch we took a side channel to see the community of floating houses, a school bus - which was a boat, as well as cattle being transported by boat. Then we went to a fish farm where we fed the arapaima. Next was the meeting of the waters, the Rio Negro and the Amazon. They run alongside each other for a very long way. Not only is the color of the rivers different but so is the temperature of the waters. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke very good English.
