Amazon Negro River Half-Day Expedition Tour

A touristic experience. But what mattered most was Fleix arranged transportation to leave the tour early to make my flight. Saw the river dolphins up close, lunch was really good too, buffet of quality food. Restroom and bar on board, easy and delightful experience!

A joy from punctual start to finish.

Overall this is a really nice tour. Our guide was amazing. He spoke English and was really friendly. We managed to spot a sloth in the trees thanks to him. It's been a great experience even though some parts felt like tourist traps. To swim with the dolphins you have to pay extra and same if you want to feed the pirarucu fish. The coconuts sold by the villagers were way overprised. The water lilies also were disappointing. Not at all as showed in the pictures. However, it was fun so I would recommend it.

Fairly disappointing tour: the route is not entirely consistent with what is written in the description. The boat hosts many people and everything turns out to be very chaotic and disorganized. The stop for the walk does not exist; they take you to an exquisitely touristy reconstruction of a village, where adults and children perform in a rather squalid way. You can manage to see the pink dolphins at the end of the tour, but with difficulty and in a rather sad way for the animals. In hindsight, I would not do it again.

We enjoyed the experience a lot, I think it is a very complete tour that shows both the natural and cultural part of the region. The staff was very attentive to us, the food delicious, the boat comfortable and clean, in short, we enjoyed it a lot, I highly recommend it. The only thing I would recommend to foreigners is to bring cash because the day I went they did not have a card terminal and if you want to consume something, it gets a bit complicated.

I contacted this tour operator on WhatsApp for a three-hour private tour for two. The organization was precise and punctual! We were picked up at the indicated point in the city center and then at the end taken back to our hotel, which wasn't exactly in the city center. The boatman first took us swimming with pink dolphins; it was truly exciting, especially since we were the only ones there! We then set off on a picturesque boat ride through the forest. We reached another docking point where we could disembark and walk through the forest on a boardwalk, listening to the sounds of nature. Finally, we set off for the final stop, the meeting of the waters, where he let us feel the difference in temperature between the two rivers. The only thing that could be improved is that the guide didn't speak English but he still tried to explain things to us and we understood each other a little.

I made the reservation via WhatsApp and the truth is they responded immediately, even though I made it only two or three hours before it started. They confirmed with me right away. They sent a car to the hotel to pick us up and took us to the port where Mario took us in his boat to see the sunset from the Rio Negro. Exceptional views of the sunset and exceptional service from Mario, with whom we went piranha fishing. I couldn't tip him because I only had cards, but he deserved it because he made the excursion unforgettable for us. Everything excellent
